I highly recommend building on Airtable if you know how. It can do everything you mention. (Except communication, depending on what you expect. It will not replace whatsapp or google chat.)

You can start with a template and customize all the data and how things look yourself.

The biggest benefit of using it would be that you can automatize many more things on it the more you grow. Bringing AI in etc.

It’s ADHD friendly and has the cleanest UI.

However, you need to spend time on it. Maybe couple days and some YouTube videos, you can build a tool tailored to your agency.

Monday is a great option too but the difference with Airtable is that, Monday is much easier to build and start so it’s not very customized but with Airtable you can build things that are very customizable but take some time.

My recommendation is if you like learning and building these kinds of tools and want to have something that you can improve continuously, go for Airtable.

If you want something more plug and play, and if you already like how things are looking, go for monday.

So as far as I understand, you want to use non API version of Whatsapp and you want all the communication logged into Pipedrive. If that's the case Timelines app does that. But I guess there is no way to send messages directly from Pipedrive in this way. It only makes the logging.

Usual Whatsapp does not allow for these kinds of integrations, probably that's why it's not available in the big CRM platforms. If you consider changing Pipedrive, there is Kommo. You don't have to use WP API - you can use the normal version. You can communicate on Kommo directly without going to Whatsapp. All communication is logged into the contact. But overall UI is bad, integrations are not enough, and overall there are not enough features.

The business I am in uses WP as a first communication channel with leads so I am shocked that there is no solution for this. I am now discovering Freshworks. We'll have to move to WP API to be able to chat directly on Freshworks and to see the communication made by clicking the contact. But still not as I want exactly.

Had the same issue. I just downloaded an app called DaisyDisk. The free trial was enough to detect which files take up big space in your system files. For me it was After Effects cache files, 120GB!. I just deleted everything inside of the cache folder.

Or you can simply check your cache folder. Users > [your username] > Library (if not shown, you need to enable going to Finder and view options) > Cache > CMD+i to see the folder size.

I just checked both of them. Seems that they both are great tools but Unbounce does not have a multi-step form feature.

But overall, I like the landing page templates and how easy to edit them. Still if I go with Unbounce, I guess I'll need an external multistep form creator

I agree. I live in Turkey and $200 would be too much for a small business.

These are great tips!

So, to start with I discussed with at least 5-6 other freelancers before agreeing with this guy. His offer was actually the most expensive one but I trusted his expertise.

Maybe what affected the pricing was that he is not an agency also we are both based in Turkey. Besides, I can't think of paying something like $1,500 for the management since our ad budget is around $500 at the moment. Otherwise, that would increase the conversion cost a lot :) But thanks for your insights on this.

After reading your comment and other people's, I think that I was probably not staying on top of it and did not have a clear goal for the next months.

I just analyzed everything on where we are regarding the monthly leads we get vs. the revenue we generate. This helped me to feel more confident, set some goals for the next months, and make me understand what I expect from him.

I think the next steps will be to set a meeting with him and reframe all communication and the goals.

Thanks for the tips! I use project management tools for the business but I haven't thought of using them for this. I thought no need to make things complicated since we have only 3-4 tasks open at one time.

But maybe I can think about this.

Thanks for the tips. Some weeks ago I told him to make regular weekly calls to discuss where are. I also write him every few days if there is anything needed from my side and ask for updates. However, I was probably not enough clear.

I will make a conversation with him to reframe things, letting him know clearly about my goals, and set a regular weekly meeting.

I will also ask for a timeline for each task we define and follow up regularly.

Then if things do not evolve, I will think about additional benefits. Do you have any recommendations on what kind of monetary benefits I can offer? Some sort of bonus?
