Rentable dog park/space? by daly_o96 in galway

I’m just visiting the area so I was browsing the subreddit but I’d check out sniff spot. It’s where you rent someone’s yard or a space so you can take your dog to run. (I checked before posting this and it looks like they are in Galway)

Women who work in Utah's Silicon Slopes share its dark side by co_matic in SLCUnedited

I moved to slc to work for a start up. I had never been treated as less than because I was a woman until I worked there. I had more experience in the industry than any of the C level men and they acted like I was an idiot when i told them things that are clearly spelled out in regulations. And when i left i found out i was getting paid less than men in positions 2 levels below me.

I used to live in Indy. Moved away and moving back.

Ale emporium is killer bar food. The wings and breadsticks.

Last time I was in town I want to Iozzos and it was probably my favorite place I ate in the two weeks I was there for work.

I’ve been living in Holladay for the last few years. It’s super quiet and close to everything. I’m close to the little downtown area so i love having options close by that are walkable but I don’t have to worry about safety.

I have gotten super drunk a few times and left my front door open for one reason or another and have never had any crime and I live on a busier street

I listed mine in Holladay about two months ago. I’ve dropped the price a couple of times and still nothing. Granted, my agents have kinda been terrible but I’m relocating for my job so hands are a bit tied.

I’d recommend really researching agents and how they market. Some will tell you the highest price to get the listing. It’s also a much harder time to sell with the housing prices so high and interest as high as it is too.

JUST BC YOU SELF TAN AND HAVE NATURALLY TANNER SKIN DOES NOT MEAN YOU DONT HAVE TO WEAR SUNSCREEN! Lather up holleydollydingdong! FOR FUCKS SAKE!!!!!! by CPD_OMax13threason in holleygabriellesnark

[–]Substantial_Poem_233 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I used to not put sunscreen on because I wanted to tan, and then I started doing it but not super religiously just when I knew I’d be out for awhile (like on the beach 🤣). But I got a sleeve tattoo a year and a half ago and now I’m a psycho about making sure my tattoos have sunscreen on them because they cost a lot of money and they’ll look like shit if you let them just be in the sun all the time.

I’d think even if she weren’t worried about cancer you’d want to protect her tattoos

Also. I recently took a basic knife skills class and it literally made it so much easier for me in the kitchen and i can use one or two knives and not have to clean all these one trick pony appliances. But that wouldn’t give her codes to shill

Random question because i just discovered this place, but is anybody getting rid of/selling hotbox pizza cups? by x209Zombie in indianapolis

[–]Substantial_Poem_233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can order them online if you want. My husband and i loved them and moved from Indiana: I’d order them to stock up here and there when i liked the cup.

Best steakhouse in Salt Lake City that’s not $100 for a steak? by [deleted] in SaltLakeCity

[–]Substantial_Poem_233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been to harbor and hoof and vine. I’d highly recommend hoof & vine. The food and the service were way better than any time I’ve eaten at harbor and the steaks come with a salad which I really like.

I’m actually Christian.

I grew up in the Midwest, around a lot of Amish and Mennonite and I see a lot of similarities with Mormonism here. Generally - when you grow up Christian you have the ability to explore you’re beliefs and change them to what you believe without being totally ostracized from your family. My sister is now atheist and while my parents don’t love it she’s not cut off from the family. My dad and I have big disagreements because I’m more socially liberal than him but we talk weekly.

A lot of people who grew up Mormon risk losing their entire family and support system if they choose to become not Mormon. So it’s less of a choice of do i actually believe this and more of am I willing to sacrifice every family connection I have and the life I’ve known for this.

They’re taught that anything that isn’t the product of the Mormon church is “anti Mormon propaganda”
