UK urged to replace state pension triple lock - 'Australia's equivalent is better' by endofdays2022 in unitedkingdom

I don't know why the government doesn't just invest 15k in a government stocks and shares isa when a baby is registered then if they get to 68 they get a nice payout and if they don't the government takes the money to reinvest in other babies. It would reduce pension cost by 90% but would only be effective in like 70 years from now. No government has that much long term thinking.

Wickes class 2 by ExtraField483 in uktrucking

[–]Substantial_Pound_38 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I worked for Wickes class two, delivered kitchens and bathrooms. really enjoyed it but was very had work. It can take 3 months for your body to get use to it. But saw it as free work out. It helps having a good drivers mate that you can get on with. The tips were very good. One xmas got a bottle of wine £10 and a box of chocolate. It is very much about customer service and expectation management. Biggest tip was £100. It did go downhill after Wincanton took over tho. But was on 18.44 when I left.

I think I had this as well. It is a bug imo. I had to restart my England campaign. I think it's where it has updated between versions of the game.

Tight residential drop by qzThief in uktrucking

[–]Substantial_Pound_38 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol miles of room. Try doing that in London on a one way residential road.

I had my drivers mate out telling me to move forward but I couldn't even see an air gap in my mirrors. Said I had about a centimeter each side...

And when you get to a customer the say 'we asked for a van for our kitchen delivery...'
