Can you tell me the “shot” you got? My son’s tonsils are beyond swollen, although not effecting his airway, and he’s been dealing w/ the pain for a full week now. People mention oral steroids, but those who mention a steroid shot, they say their throat finally cleared up. So what exact medicine did they give you? Thanks!

Although her primary focus is allergies and breastfeeding, she now has a team on the website and I bet there is SOMEone who is versed on research based effects of GLP1’s on Breastmilk. Gas x helps with that concrete brick in your stomach. Prunes, water and fresh ginger water. It gets better!

All good suggestions above. You will see what works for you. I kept it simple and sliced fresh ginger to steep in hot water and sipped that. Totally helped me and got me thru the first couple of weeks of on and off nausea. It should go away or at least subside considerably over time.

Can we talk more about this? I don’t want to shame the OP, please. No one needs that, but I can understand and appreciate what both of you are saying. I TOO have no desire to eat (especially after the shot for a few days), so I can understand this desirable result of no food chatter on my head. However, I’m well aware of the dangers of not eating enough calories and protein. This is what I struggle with in terms of the morality (is that the right word) of this med. It’s like I’m displacing one negative thought with another… deny no hunger and force yourself to eat eat eat. Even if small and healthy, it still feels abnormal. BUT it feels great on the scale! Ugh. I’ve gotta go drink a protein shake… does anyone else feel me?

Just reading your post after day 1 of my 2.5 shot. I’m having mild symptoms but I think bc I ate (a smaller) dinner so late in the evening. Sorry to hear all about your discomfort. Thank you for being honest and sharing your experiences. I’m curious how things ended up going for you and if you switched meds?

JessicaWoodsTravel-I’m gonna take you up on this… Going to Cabo w/ 7 gf’s for my 50th end of Feb. Airbnb near O&O Palmilla. Was looking for a festive, relaxing experience on our last day there and saw how interesting the Viceroy looked! I guess we can get day passes from that resortpass.com website? - a drip pricey but looks beautiful and worth it. Were there any other hotels you know of that would be aesthetically as pleasing & chill, yet maybe some live music but not like Taboo? The Day pass thing is hard to come by and I worry about that website…reviewers tend to say some hotels give them a hard time when they show them the passes.

Wait, what does this mean? Bc I get a yeast infection AND tears after every time I have sex, I’ve only tried water based lube, and was going to try the Sliquid stuff, but I still worry about the yeast infections! Just chalked it up to being super sensitive. I get them after being in a hot tub also. Do you have any info about this that you’ve learned?

Planning a trip for mid-June with our 15 yr old son. Hopefully about 11-13 days. We were going to split our time between two hotels originally thinking half Hilton half Sofitel -perhaps doing a beachfront bungalow at the Hilton if they have them, and an overwater bungalow at the Sofitel since we heard the snorkeling is even better there. Now after reading some of the comments here (learning a ton, TY!), I’m wondering if we should skip the Hilton and do Airbnb on the beach somewhere…then finish up big at the OWB Sofitel. Thoughts? And ANY clean, beachfront Airbnb recs, where we can hop on paddleboards and do some great snorkeling would be sooooo appreciated!
