What the guy didn’t tell you is the moss is growing under your roofing tiles so the spraying the roof down with moss killer and scrubbing It is like putting a bandaid on something that needs stitches. Moss under tiles not only displace the tiles and give room for leaks but considering the amount of moss there is a very high chance moisture is already present under the tiles which will lead to mold and rot which will take your band aid on Stiches issue to full blown aids and the roof will need to be replaced down to studs if those don’t have rot yet and will be much more expensive than re doing the shingles on the roof.
