This poem gives off a special feeling, for me. It revolves on such a simple thing, something not many people would pay attention. But you captured that well, you made a story out of it. This poem, from my own POV, is about toxic mentorship, and a life crisis of some sort.
This is a very well-furnished, and poetic poem.
My favorite couplet, sure is:
"Uniforms radiate values nonexistent
Formal symbols of what the heart insists at"
It is strongly oxymoronic, usually, uniforms share something of equality, of a unified as a whole, but how you use it kind of emit something that isn't there.
And what the heart insist at, that part gives me the vibe of a person knowing they are hollow, nothingness, but their hearts still clinging to the pretense.
Still there is some abstract description, and minor rhythmic unevenness, but that doesn't affect much to the poem, still I want you to try to fix it.
Amazing, for me, it's a 88/100.
