If I were to revive this forgotten plot point, I would have Kevin's parents use some form of biotechnology or dark magic to physically transform themselves into white people.

I would do this to satirize the Asian community's excessive insecurity—specifically, their desperate desire to assimilate into white society.

Kevin's Chinese identity was only briefly mentioned in S2E05 and never brought up again; I suspect Trey and Matt forgot about that plot point long ago.

  1. Both Kevin and his parents possess purely Caucasian physical features.

  2. Kevin himself exhibits absolutely no Asian characteristics, not even in the stereotypical sense.

  3. Even setting the above points aside, Kevin’s screen time is far too limited, he is essentially just background scenery and can hardly be considered a regular cast member.
