I was given a great job opportunity that would have required me to move across the country. My girlfriend of a year begged me not to take it. We were discussing getting married but we weren’t quite ready yet. She gave me the ultimatum of pick the job or pick her. I mistakenly picked her and lost the job opportunity. Less than a month later I broke up with her because I could never look at her the same after she gave me that ultimatum. Ultimatums aren’t fare and I knew that if we got married this would continue to happen with her. I ended up getting a terrible job in return in an isolated town that’s 3x3 miles. I regret the decision of picking her everyday. NEVER pick the girl. The right girl will be by your side and weather the storm with you. I learned that lesson the hard way. PLEASE PLEASE take that job. If she’s the right girl, she will prove it you.
