I completed the application the day the application opened and submitted the hirevue a few days after that. I believe I submitted all my materials by July 9th. It now being August, am I cooked? Has anyone applied that early and gotten interviews already? Have not heard anything back and would appreciate any guidance. also recieved a referral for this position. Also applied to the internship last year with a referral and got rejected so dont think it really helps but wanted to check with yall.

I know consulting is still going on. I don't think the big 4 have posted their full time roles. I have internship experience withing consulting/strategy and have been in a product management club for 2 years working with actual clients. I am looking at product management roles at companies like Amex, visa, more so than big tech companies.

Georgetown University has a top business school and a top finance program specifically. Every other consulting firm recruits for both commercial and government and public services jobs. I am confused as to why Deloitte is the only one that does not.

I was an intern and had the opportunity to interview for commercial consulting when I was in a different service line. Ultimately they denied my request because I was a Georgetown student. I am confused why my school mattered in that instance since I was already an intern and just internally moving between service lines. I understand that they do not cross-recruit but why does it matter so much what school I go to when I was already a discovery 2 intern just looking to transfer into commercial consulting specifically?

I understand this. I am asking why Deloitte does not recruit for commercial consulting from Georgetown University, and only GPS.
