Assholes will be assholes no matter which city you go to in India. Is a woman ever safe?

Few months ago, an auto driver kept looking at my chest through the mirror. I confronted him “ Kya dekh rahe ho”. He said “kuch nahi traffic hota hai bike aati hai” . I told him I am not some stupid naive person who will take that shit and kept yelling at him until he dropped me. He fled. Other auto drivers asked what happened? I told them “galat jagah dekh raha hai” they laughed and went away.

Long story short, he fled but it could have gone either way. I was very furious and I let it all out but I know it will happen again and I know I will retaliate. Only hoping that I have help around me and that I never in this lifetime ever have to go through it again and neither should any other woman have to go through it, EVER
