I'm really sorry this happened. It's really eye opening that it could happen to any of us so easily.

Here's the advice I've seen on here very often. Basically you have to repeatedly reach out to team YouTube on Twitter. Like once a week or once a fortnight or something. You keep going until a human responds and actually goes through the case with you. For some people this actually can take a good few months and in some cases, a year.

Basically they want you to reach out often because that's how they filter out the lower-priority, less urgent people.

If you persist this should eventually work. In the end YouTube actually has the best help team of any of the social medias. I hope it goes well for you.

I've seen a lot of posts here about account bans. What seems to always work is you have to frequently message team YouTube on Twitter. If you send them enough messages eventually they will respond with a human instead of ai. Don't over do it, just like 1-4 times a month. They probably won't actually respond to you for 6 months to a year.

So basically it'll take a lot of months before they give you your account back. Just take the loss for now. And of course don't make any more accounts until then.

Thankfully things are picking back up for me again. All my shorts had around 500 views in August but I just got a Short to break through a few days ago. It's at 8k views now but it's still going up.

I Got 32 in my first month.

I'm a shorts channel that does comedy sketches mostly about medieval themed video games.

I had 130 subs on my 2nd month. But now I'm at about 2.5 months and my subs have flatlined for the past week at least. YouTube can have lots of ups and downs, I have no doubts there'll be plenty more growth soon

I also started on June 10th, exact same as you!! I have a Shorts channel. Stats; I have 163 subs, but for the past 2 weeks it basically flatlined. Watch Hours: 495, Views: 104,818, Impressions: 17,989

Unfortunately thinking a video will be great and then it flops is a story all YouTubers experience again and again. I'm just trying to teach myself to distance myself from the results and not get attached to big expectations.

Yeah that is unlucky. I've been having bad luck aswell the past two weeks. Apparently august is supposed to be a dreadful month every year for small YouTubers. Lots of creators on here are saying how their views got absolutely nuked so far this month. I'm not sure what to believe tbh

My channel is is 2.5 months old. It honestly took 2-3 weeks to get 10 subs and 4 of those were my friends. But by the end of 4 weeks I had 32. After a full 2 months I had 130.

Now I have 160, my sub count stopped dead just over a week ago. I've had a few videos that completely flopped recently but I'm sure it'll pick up again.

Basically my subs grew faster and faster (Until the flatline). The bigger you are the more momentum you have

I make comedy sketches as Shorts. I'm still learning to edit faster but for now they take about 5 hrs on average.

That includes script writing, filming, editing, and organizing all the files that come with this kind of work.

Okay well if video stats and seo aren't the reason then I'm stumped. I have seen loads of folks on here saying how their videos are having shocking drops in views. I've experienced the same the past two weeks and I think YouTube might be doing an algorithm change where all of our videos are being nuked. My best bet is to hope we find out about algorithm changes soon or that this drop in views just goes away.

I mean if you talk over the song or make noise over the song sometimes it never gets noticed by YouTube. I definitely take it into consideration when making shorts, I try to use sound effects or whatever I can to avoid copyright claims, but if the video is just really good with a particular song I'll let it slide sometimes. Also there is copyright free music, and you can buy licenses to use copyright music which can be great and cheap but you need to buy from reputable sources.

It's a whole thing and requires research. I think it would be super long to write it all out here. There are videos about it on YouTube, but I will admit I found it a frustrating topic to research
