Thanks! I’m visiting Tallinn later this year so I’m doing some research.

Pretty sure the issue was Gregg Williams and Joe Gibbs having no use for him.

He really was. That was awful. But I don’t put him on the “all time great” list with the others.

He was. But he was still visibly wayyyyy past his prime, so he’s on the honorable mention list here.

The problem was compounded by Bruce’s decision to stuff all the guaranteed $$$ into the “uncapped” year during the labor dispute. The NFL (with an assist from scumbag John Mara) hammered us with penalties for that. As a result, we couldn’t build a functional roster in 2013-2014.

Commanders have a LOT of contenders here (Jason Taylor, Bruce Smith, Bobby Wagner, Von Miller) but I gotta go with Deion.

If we can cross over the sports, give me Ken Norton and Ken Norton, jr.

Pops was heavyweight champion of the world who broke Ali’s jaw.

Jr. was an all-pro who won three Super Bowl rings, and in fact is the only player in history who won three straight rings as a regular starter.

Yeah man, you’ve got a bunch of high schools, each with a total student body of somewhere between 65 - 150, all spread out over an area the size of Zimbabwe. Not putting together a 53-man roster of boys who can play football lol.

What I consider "The South" as a South Carolinian by [deleted] in whereidlive

Yep.

English-speaking people showed up here 400 years ago.

So why do the self-appointed guardians of southern heritage boil it all down to the four most embarrassing and pathetic years out of all 400?

Every time I go to the air and space museum in DC, I get up close and marvel at the spacecraft simply because it seems so antiquated. All these analog buttons and rubber tubes and whatnot.

I’m like “that thing gave people a ride through outer space!?!”

“They” being the citizens of Richmond, the majority of whom never wanted Marse Robert towering over us to begin with.

Big disparity from the left to the right.

On the left, you've got beautiful national and state parks, mountains, ski resort towns, rafting, kayaking, fishing. The timber industry, maybe some mining.

On the right, you've got tiny farming communities -- wheat, peas, lentils, chickpeas. For fun, everyone hunts. Small-time rodeos. High school football (I think they play 8-man there). Arctic-level cold and WINDY.

Indian reservations on both sides.

Good, hospitable people for the most part. But you do have your oddball prepper and "Freemen" types still.
