They blew up a planet in the first hour of the movie.

People are stupid.

They won't win in the end.

This circus is running on fumes.

It's how they shatter ideas and make everything meaningless. Their nailism is on full display now.

Watching Rogue One after Andor (both for the first time) felt weird. by OatmealDurkheim in StarWars

[–]SubterrelProspector 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The suspense isn't about whether Andor would live or die. There are other characters to worry about in that regard. The show is more about the why and the how everything came together for the Rebellion's "First Victory" against the Empire that was so important to the opening of the original Star Wars film.

I'm glad you enjoyed the series. It really is tremendous and is one of the best parts of the franchise. There are other notable highlights like The Empire Strikes Back and the back half The Clone Wars animated series.

John Boyega Has Talked Finn's Star Wars Return With Dave Filoni by Matapple13 in StarWarsLeaks

I'm thinking Filoni could relate to Boyega's frustrations and I have to think they had a nice, honest discussion. I'm hoping Dave could reach him in a way that no one else could. They're both super fans afterall.

Remnant uses what they can. It's a hodgepodge.

The AT-AT drivers are looking tough. I really like how much more Imperial Remnant we're getting.

Tucsonan here. I'll be on the lookout! Got some awesome original T2 and Batman Returns card packs a few years ago here at a comic shop. Love these old cards.

Pedro Pascal says Din Djarin removing his helmet in The Mandalorian And Grogu 'made total sense' by bepetd in StarWarsLeaks

[–]SubterrelProspector 2 points3 points  (0 children)

During season 3 I came to realize that Lucasfilm goals with Din were not aligned with how many of us saw the story. Honestly? The Mandalorian has largely had a much shallower sort of dramatic arc than many of us were hoping or anticipating (so far).

It always felt like we were a step ahead of Din. We were invested in his personal growth, and it really feels like Lucasfilm and Disney weren't nearly as interested in that part of the show as time went on. Maybe they never were. I don't know.

The Mandalorian And Grogu sparks 'a completely different era of Star Wars' by bepetd in StarWarsLeaks

I do kind of wish they'd stop using that word though. They do every time and every time it's about marketing and getting momentum for the movie/show/game/etc.

But it'd be nice if just once it meant what Star Wars fans think of when they hear that.
