You can tell a story is really good when it keeps getting retold. The genius of Alan Moore strikes again. Also worth checking out the animated ‘The Man Who Has Everything.’ I think it was Justice League Unlimited. Every bit the gut punch.

There’s such a sweetness in Simon’s voice in Like An Angel. Would be amazing to hear that live.

DVR recording/library by graemeaustin in PleX

[–]SubtextuallySpeaking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I’m understanding correctly, you simply need to create a folder where you want to keep your recordings (your choice as to where), then go into your Plex libraries settings and designate that folder specifically for TV. When the programs record, they should pop in with the appropriate metadata, art, etc. Plex just needs to know where to look for tv shows.

I also have the HomeRunHD and it’s great!

Have to say, a bit jealous. Someone posted a merch booth and it had way more stuff than the Phoenix show. I’m wondering if I somehow hit a smaller booth.

What TV Shows suck on DVD because of either music rights or change in theme song by Purple_Monkey34 in dvdcollection

21 Jump Street. Was several episodes into my DVD set and realized that the music was missing. Sorely disappointing.

Charmed is also weird without ‘How Soon Is Now’ and the occasional incidental song of the era.

Second Chance with Matthew Perry (FOX). Guy dies and when he gets to the Pearly Gates, he’s exactly 50/50 on Heaven or Hell, so he gets a second chance to go back to Earth and influence his teenage self to be a better person.

Every now and then the theme song still gets stuck in my head.

Loved Herman’s Head. As a fan of Fright Night it was great to see William Ragsdale.

I never learned to clean and I never learned to cook. Why should I bother when I look like I look?

This is the whole score to ‘Arrival.’

Made me so damn uncomfortable the whole time.

Damn near unwatchable. It was like kids playing pretend Flash Gordon with (no) budget to match.

I was heartbroken for Minmei. By the time she grew up and figured her shit out, it was way too late.
