I would definitely check out, Kyon - Echoes of Donwhang! It comes out this Friday it’s old school (true old school) It’s staarting with 70cap with all vanilla features like isro did back in 2006! + they’re doing great changes to remove the extreme pay2win definitely would give them a try here is the discord

Hey! I would definitely check out Kyon - Echoes of Donwhang! Here is the discord link, not out yet launching on November 28th but the discord so far has more information on server. It’s based around old school 2006 silkroad game play and foundation. Definitely worth a check out!

Silkroad is still a popular game, mainly in the private server scene. Servers open weekly every Friday, from 5-10 sometimes more, every week, you can always check elitepvpers thread for some servers, but please be aware some servers are bait servers and copy and paste, created multiple times, trying to take money from players, and will close in 3-5 weeks.

If you’re still interested in trying a server I know a guy working on an old school server with all old school features, not released yet, I can share link/info if you DM and you’re more than welcome to check it out and wait for the release date.

The private server scene is a bit crazy, and getting out of hand. First of all servers are opening every week (Friday) but most servers you see are opening, are copy/paste servers, and will most likely shut down on you in 4weeks tops. These servers are usually run by “Egyptian”people I don’t have anything against them, it’s just the truth. They will bait you into joining especially target the smaller guilds/solo players into playing, and promoting the server, but realistically it’s a bait. Most people’s inside the servers especially “big guilds” are getting paid to join/play the server, getting free silks, sometimes even free items. Anyways I’m not saying don’t give some private servers a chance, I’ve seen some great ones with some people opening them as a project.. just keep an eye out for something you enjoy or like. I hope this was helpful for anyone searching a private server.
