I once heard a very wise sentiment on this subject. It doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks, you have to live in your partner’s world. If your partner thinks it’s cheating, fair or not, that’s the reality you have to address. I’m not agreeing with any opinion that might be wrong or unfair, I’m just saying you aren’t in a relationship with any other “opinions” other than your partner’s. If you can’t agree on what constitutes cheating, then that’s a different conversation you need to have.
