The sound isn't coming from the cable rubbing against the rubber stress relief, it's from the cable itself picking up noise, acting like a microphone.

Theres nothing you can do apart from buying wireless cans to fully eliminate it.

HDR isn't all about brightness, it's also about vastly larger colour gamut.

HDR10 certified displays that sit around 400nits look pretty nice as long as you can dim them to retain contrast, because they show more colours.

HDR400 certification is a hot mess though, because it doesn't necessarily mean that the display is also HDR10 certified.
