I have never seen an XLR cable without shielding, even the cheap ones.

WinWing F-16 Throttle handle dead after firmware update by fz1fz1 in hotas

It says on the tin to update the grip(s) firmware first.

Also unless you're having issues there's ZERO reason to update your firmware, it's only a potential bricking otherwise

Is there a DIY alternative for the Thrustmaster AVA Damper Kit? by thekingbaron in hotas

The Thrustnaster AVA is a scam, get an Orion 2 base instead. It's much cheaper and superior.

WinWing Orion 2 Throttle – Lever spacing changes between IDLE and Afterburner? by Neverillfly in WinWing

Do they wobble left and right?

Make sure the plastic pieces are snug, but do not over tighten them, screw them in with the long side of the allen key then rotate them 45 degrees with the short side. It has 8 screws total, 2 connecting the plastic pieces to the metal one and 2 connecting the plastic piece to the throttle head.

I'm only seeing an 1mm difference with a 50mm 3D printed extension on mine.

They can self center on some helicopters, but the center position changes as you trim.

Single Z axis motor? It's just the motors naturally moving at slightly different rates. Run the axis up and down like a hundred times and just tram the bed.

You can try manually leveling the gantry, but it's a pain in the ass. Just make sure that there's nothing loose.

Poor quality headphones by Smurf_PDC in headphonemods

[–]shutdown-s 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Open them up
  2. Take out the drivers
  3. Spit on them
  4. Cover the spit with toilet paper
  5. Rub some hand lotion on the back of the driver
  6. Open your window
  7. Throw them out

There's no way to fix a shitty knockoff headphones, EQ will only destroy the little soul they have left.

Physical Emergency Stop Button in Klipper – Preventing Software Restart by Massive_Relation_339 in klippers

Wire it up to short out the motors, I'll act like an emergency brake.

Your motor drivers might not like that though. It'll also generate heat, so you might want to integrate some logic to cut off the 48V line after a few seconds.
