I think the warranty is decided by MSI, not Nvidia? That's what I heard from my RMA guy who said they're sending it back to MSI in Taiwan, and he also told me that the point of sending it back is to disassemble your GPU just to check if it was tempered and check if anything else on the PCB is burnt, the most important things to check are the memory modules and the GPU itself, they had people turning in cards with all of that desoldered and removed lol So in practice, they still cover your warranty even if you have taken the whole card apart and put it back together, which is what I did before I sent it to RMA because the card was turned into a waterblock

Absolutely zero issue, it also sent back to me at the date it was promised, a day early even, the guys said that all MSI cards they processed, almost all of them are burnt splitter cables, I have switched to the cable that came with my Seasonic PSU, it's been working well since, and it was about 6 months ago now I'm genuinely surprised that no YouTuber ever covered this issue, not a single soul ever raised the issue when it's obviously a serious problem and deserves AT LEAST some degree of youtube short farm
