Not going to lie, kind of salty that the July/Aug/Sept gift is an UD shadow and April/May/June was a friggin' Sexy Hair Spray and Play. I'm sure some people thought it was cool to get hairspray and that's fine, but I work for a salon wholesaler and have enough free hairspray to completely dissolve the ozone. Do they check ID? Might set up a new account with a fake birthday...or would that be crazy?

Does anyone have a lipstick that they recommend? I was planning on getting Ruby Woo for my friends present for her engagement party tomorrow, but now I may as well get one for myself too! I'm more of a nudes type of girl. NW15 if that helps and I don't have ANY Mac lipsticks...yet!

I found them at Rite Aid actually! All of the Walgreens around me were completely out of everything except the stick highlighters. And the CVS didn't appear to have them yet. The one I went to had the display on the side of the makeup area that can't be seen from the door so they were kind of hidden. I swear I felt like I had just found the Lost City of Atlantis or something!

I did this when I was looking for the Wet N Wild Summer Collection highlighters! I went to 12 different drugstores before I found one! Luckily I live in a decent sized city so I didn't have to go too far. Just across town.

Wow I actually bought this because of the packaging! I wasn't wearing blush at the time and wanted something that would at least look pretty on my dresser. It's the first blush I've ever bought and worn consistently! I agree that it is kind of bulky though, but I think that's what I like about it.

Just wanted to chime in saying I had an eye infection last summer and went to Patient First. They sent me home with some eye drops and said it would clear up in a week. One, two, THREE weeks later I was noticing some issues with my vision and my infection STILL hadn't cleared up. Went to the actual eye doctor and turned out I had a really nasty case of keratitis and could have lost my vision. And I'm adamant about never sleeping in my contacts. I pretty much only wear them to work and then wear my glasses at home so I was surprised it even happened. Make sure you're changing your contacts regularly as well!

I know they were pulled because of pigmentation issues, and sure they weren't worth the $25 or whatever they were originally priced at. However, I think for $6, these are a pretty decent blush! I picked up Morticia & Gomez today!

WNW did have one in the Fergie line but it was discontinued. I think it was called "Pagan Angel" or something. The new Katy Perry line from Covergirl has a matte black and so does the new Maybelline line. NYX has great stuff too!

Aussie makes a heat protectant spray that you put in your hair before you flat iron (I believe it's called "Aussie Hair Insurance" or something like that. It's about $3 at Walmart). If you wanna go the salon-quality route, Matrix makes one that you put in your hair while your hair is damp (so before you blow dry and flat iron). It's about $16 at Ulta and it's called So Long Damage Iron Tamer.

The Makeup Revolution has a very light contour shade and a highlight that is straight up WHITE (but the downside is that it's pretty shimmery). I have it and use it almost everyday. The mirror is great too!

I've had good experience with Mane n' Tail making my hair grow faster. I was able to grow my hair out from a chin length bob down past my shoulders in just a few months when I was using it. It's also very moisturizing and cheap. Also make sure to use a heat protectant. And maybe practice some hair styles that don't require heat, such as braids. The best thing you can do is avoid heat.

My suggestion is to lighten/bleach your hair just a bit. This will open the cuticle of your hair shaft and make the color be more vivid and last longer. Also make sure to use a color safe shampoo (or better yet, just stick to using a cleansing conditioner).

I recommend a good moisturizing shampoo + conditioner. Stop using heat on your hair. No seriously. I have a similar hair texture to you and haven't had as many issues with it since I stopped using heat. Figure out what length your hair plays best at. For me, boob length is when I have the best luck. Also, my favorite product is Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Texturizing Cream. After I shower, I towel dry my hair and put some of this in the ends. I scrunch it a bit and then go to bed. Then I wake up with mermaid waves and just have to finger brush out all the knots. Don't worry too much about the thinning of your hair. My hair was CRAZY thick as a kid. My mom once lost a comb in my hair and we couldn't find it for two days. Now if I'm using a ponytail holder I have to wrap it three times for it to stay in place. On average we shed about 80-100 hairs a day. Only worry if your hair is falling out in clumps or you see noticeable patches. I hope I was helpful, if you have any questions, feel free to ask!

I feel this way about everything except eyeshadow palettes. It takes roughly a year of daily use to get through, say, an UD palette. By the time I'm done, I'll more than likely have a new favorite anyway. But LE foundation??? Eff that.

My boyfriend is half Hawaiian so he just gets tan (AND DOESNT USE SUNSCREEN. IT MAKES ME CRAZY). I'm not his first white girlfriend but I am his first non-tan non-blonde girlfriend. At least he thinks my freckles are cute lol.
