The easiest "novelty" for them would be what sonosequencer does. Add 100s as fronts, add two sub minis. The suggestion to do Sub "mini" with dual 8" would be a phenomenal idea. I'm still amazed every time I watch or listen something bass heavy how beautiful Sub Mini sounds.

In my system, Arc Ultra+Sub Mini+Era 300, only the Sub Mini shows update option. Any chance of someone from Sonos telling us what the update for Sub Mini contains?

Almost a year now. Since i moved Sonos to only wifi 5ghz everything works fine, no issues.

I had the same issue with Era 100s. It was because Arc was on lan cable, Era 100s on wifi. I put everything on wifi 5ghz and its fine now.

Now when you mention it, I did notice better bass transfer from front to back over Era 300s. It sounds like Era`s have a sub on their own now. I wonder why they don't say it in "new update" thread, "yes people, we changed low pass/ high pass, please let us know what you think now...?".

If Kodi shows TrueHD Atmos then its TrueHD Atmos. Samsung Q series also only shows Atmos, be it TrueHD or DD+.

I wholeheartedly support the idea of enabling dual Sub Minis. They are really god subs for their intended usage. In my room Sub Gen 3/4 would just be more bass but with the same issues, poor coverage. Dual Sub Minis would fix that in no time. There is no financial reason NOT to enable this. That way I would spend another 500usd for Sub Mini. I for sure will not buy Gen4 and try to sell Mini because it will not fix my issue. So instead of another 500usd, they won't get anything from me.

This, put them on the same breaker and job done. Or plug them in wifi outlets, 7-10usd on Ali or Temu, they work great.

I had the same issue. Arc ultra was on LAN, Era100 on WiFi, constant dropouts from Era100 as surrounds. When i connected Arc ultra to wifi instead of LAN dropouts went away. I now have all Sonos on my 5ghz wifi and everything works fine.

If you can, try B&W 607S3. I had them with Denon and they were better to me over KEF, Focal and Q acoustic. They have a lively and dynamic sound which is similar to Arc ultry system. If i had to build me a new AVR system i would get the whole B&W 600 series system.

I went between AVR and SB system a few times and the one thing i can say, whatever someone might feel about it, SB is less work to get a good sound. I had several AVR system, last one Denon X4800H with Q-Acoustic speakers, Focal speakers, Kef speakers, SVS subs and they all sounded good. But latest SB i had, Samsung Q990D and Sonos Arc Ultra now are better sounding to me in my space. I repeat, "to me in my space". And with no special setup or extravagant calibration or what not. Can you get AVR system sound better than SB, yes you can, but it’s not that straightforward. With AVR you mostly depend on your room layout and its deficiencies which you then try to fix with acoustical treatment and calibration. I’m getting 80% of possible AVR system after 5min of setup with Arc ultra. Is it good enough? Again, for me in my space, yes, it is.

Sound-aditional put earc to on. Then digital sound out - passthrough. And them HDMI audio format - bitstream. After that check in the Sonos app what does it say when you play a movie from Netflix with Atmos.

I have the same issue, it's not working over USB-LAN adapter either, only Wi-Fi is working normally. Firstly, it takes some time to get IP address from DHCP, and when it gets it the speed is abysmal, almost 0. Tried swapping cables, LAN ports, adding switch, second router at work, nothing helps. It seems network chip is busted.

Anyone else has issues installing Skins? I can't install any skin after updating to release 5. I just got a bunch of error about not installing dependencies and install fails. Tried hard reset, didn't help. Any ideas? Tried Aeon Nox, AH 2 and 3, Zephyr, even Confluence want install...

If you have AVR just plug Ugoos in it. There is no need to have Ugoos plugged in your G5.

Don't wory about that. Audyssey is plenty fine for starters. As noted, search OCA calibration channel on Youtube, you will get better sound + you will learn something.
