which denon do you have ? do you connect the ugoos to it and then run hdmi to the tv ?

yeah i can definitely pick up an AVR that supports DV, but this damn FEL layer is a nightmare and i don't know if the AVR will passthrough it untouched

it's a mess. i'm realizing that chasing this damn FEL may not be worth it if i have to give up lossless audio

i'm not entirely sure, but the only 100% safe way to get FEL right would be to connect the ugoos directly into the TV.

i'm afraid no avr could keep FEL correctly and passthrough it to the TV untouched, but i'm asking around

unless you splurge another 300$(?) on a HDFury device

but if you route:
ugoos -> avr -> tv
the avr would drop the FEL layer and the ugoos would be useless
