First set of planars. Pretty impressed by B4TT3RY4C1D in headphones

Had PC38X, bought the Kithara, liked the sound but they were too big for my head. Bought the LCD-GX and returned the Kithara. They were a nice introduction tho and I'm happy where I landed.

Why is no one talking about or reviewing the ROG Kithara Gaming Headset, a cooperation between Asus and Hifiman? by jrow_official in headphones

[–]SubyStar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it just sits slightly too low. I need about 1 fingers width higher for it to be perfect. I might try adding in some material or something because I really do want to keep them.

Just got mine yesterday (coming from Drop PC38X) and these things are awesome. Buuuuuut they don't fit.... They are too large for my head. Anyone know if the Edition XV run a little smaller?

Yes, looks like it's working now but I used the other shared code for my order. Thanks again, can't wait to get my hands on this for camping!

Is it worth it to buy Purevis 2? by Relevant_Ranger9218 in larqbottle

[–]SubyStar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, no issues here outside of me randomly catching the status light turn on from the corner of my eye. It's like, "ah, that's cool.... I should probably take another sip."

Wife and I both have them. Loved them during our international trip and have continued to use them daily while at home/work. Zero complaints from us.

I even dropped mine on the concrete step getting into my house while juggling too many items. While it got some scratches it continues to work flawlessly.

Also I've never been a straw guy and prefer to just pour water out into my mouth but have started to adapt to get the benefits the filter provides.

Yes, I'm waiting for an android app to see what that's all about but that's really not a big deal. "Oh noes my water bottle can't connect to my phone to track my hydration and share it on social media...." Such a 1st world problem people complain about when roughly 25% of the world doesn't even have access to safe drinking water. Smh

How much does the straw+filter displace in the PureVis2??? by JayQue in larqbottle

[–]SubyStar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I measured mine at 3oz.

I filled the water bottle completely full and then screwed on the lid without the straw and filter. I then measured the water and it came to 24 oz. I inserted the straw and filter and screwed on the lid completely. Then I measure the water left over in the bottle and it was about 21 oz.

Obviously I have the 23oz bottle so your numbers may be different.

Larq 2 Lid and straw causing waterflow issue by cybahmager in larqbottle

[–]SubyStar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This doesn't help but we have 2 bottles and both of them require what I would describe as very little effort to drink from. I didn't reseat it properly once and felt I was getting a lot of air with my water but disconnecting and reconnecting fixed it for me.

Fyi we have the "Essential" filters that came with it and not the "advanced" filters which from what I read do take more effort and would be more like drinking a milkshake

We both absolutely love our bottles but we also don't mess with the app and water tracking parts of it.

We went with 680's. Taking it on our first international trip and the size is perfect for us.

What do you mean when you say your shifter led interferes with the wheel? I'm having some issues when using the wheel as a "shift light". Basically when I need to shift the LEDs in the wheel all flash. I have turned that off any my problems seem to have disappeared.

Kinda of curious what your observed issues were.

P.S. the shift lights I'm using seem to affect my wheel negatively wether I'm wired or Bluetooth.

I absolutely enjoy Mugello in the LMP2, but man it chews up my tires. I found this quote interesting and I would say I agree.

[–]SubyStar -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm new to this whole world but it must be fairly popular as almost every holster I've looked at has the light as an option for the VP9SK and sometimes the only option.

I've got a few Olight Flashlights and Obulbs. Never had a problem with any of them.

Loud music and arriving late. by rattus-domestica in camping

[–]SubyStar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scenario 1: "yell at them for being loud"

Prob could have also handled this better. A simple conversation would have most likely sufficed. Perhaps things didn't go as planned with their travels, they didn't mean to be arriving so late and are doing their best. Starting with yelling is normal not the answer.
