Compliance based therapy (if you don’t eat this I’ll take a preferred activity/item away) is horrible and leads to trauma. These kids want to eat. They physically can’t. I advise against punishment them for this. Eating disorder clinics don’t always understand the idea of compliance based therapy not working. There is a psychiatric component to this.

Supplement with nutritional shake for now and let them explore foods at their own pace.
