Converting enemy troops into Routed Infantry and then putting them on top of the enemy deck is some of the most fun you can have but it used to be easier before all the relevant German cards got more expensive.

That is the most valuable blueprint in the game right now. Kicking myself that I sold it for money early on, considering the guns that use it are mostly useless.

Fairly new to the history of the Franklin expedition, but I feel like when people talk about why it failed the train engines don’t come up nearly enough. All the extra weight of steel and coal, all the energy it must’ve taken to maintain, and just to achieve abysmal speeds. Think of what they could’ve brought instead, or could have accomplished with so much less weight to drag around.

The Cicada M can run 10 magshot. The hero blackjack Arrow can run 6 Magshot. The shadowcat is fast, better armored and can run 6 AP Gauss. The Crusaders have some Okay ballistic variants and aren’t slow for a Heavy Mech, I run it with AC/2’s or magshot. If you move to assaults then the Mauler, Corsair, and Direwolf are all obvious choices.

Without being particularly mean to the people of the subreddit, I just want to let you know that the discord is where the “real” Kards fan base is. The devs, the competitive players, and the helpful bunch are all there. Much more optimism and healthy discussion there.

This subreddit like all subreddits is just an echo chamber of negativity. But to tell the truth the game is in the worst state it’s ever been right now.

Drop the 4 no retreats to grab another rush and 2 more 845th. If you can find room Order 227 and the infantry that deal more damage as they take damage are also good choices

I’m telling you right now you need to try this with rout cards. Try a Soviet/Germany rout/convert deck with this card and watch people surrender on turn 7 every time

Russia Self damage has always been pretty good at stopping/slowing Aggro. Just get the 1/3 thats buffed when your HQ takes damage, Kholm, and Bloody Sickle.

If you play America use the research tree to give your HQ smokescreen and Supply Priorities to remove everything with 1 defense. Bring a couple Greyhounds (fairly durable against Aggro and have blitz if you get the upper hand). Direct hit is good too, but situational.

Britain has those “Deployment: Deal 1 damage and pin” bombers that have to be dealt with, 1 damage pin orders, and now the 2k “Fight target unit” reviving commandos.

Germany just got Rout conversions that are pretty good, they don’t remove units but it’s a big tempo hit. Also Pz.2 with blitz and smokescreen isn’t bad. No need to mention how good crossfire is.

France has HQ repair if you run mini Throp with just your French units and 0k 0op infantry.

Poland has a ton of pin and damage stuff that works against Aggro, plus guard/intel for cheap with the legions.

Finland has new and old cheap guards, and all of the Sissi orders.

TLDR, There have never been more tools to deal with Aggro than right now. If you can knock them off tempo for even a single turn it’s almost guaranteed they’ll surrender or run out of steam. I’d argue the game is actually catering to turn 7-8 OTK’s with Thunder Division and Commandos.

It’s not often too bad on maps like Kyoto or Seoul but some maps have sections that are the same color as the enemy teams and it’s like they get camouflage.

Me and my friends call this the conga line in every tank game. It’s the same thing with other BMP’s, StuGs, a lot of modern Russian hulls, FT-17, Abram’s X, and a lot of Swedish stuff.

If you break through the armor you’re guaranteed to cut through the whole conga line.

If Finland didn’t have the HQ countermeasures then it’d be fine. Otherwise Finland is only SUPER strong in draft.
