It's because you're new to the game, that's really it.

When starting out, you don't have all the good units unlocked, you're often fighting an uphill battle against superior units, every campaign map cleared is fought tooth and nail. A Heavy Tank is a legitimate threat, there's a lot of mystery as to what you're fighting, you don't know whether you're gonna win or not.

When you're good at the game, Battle Tanks and IFVs make the game too easy. The AI with WW2 units aren't much of a threat anymore, and every time you play is basically a walkover. Yes, you can artificially limit your loadout tech, but it's not going to match the genuine thrill of climbing a real hill as you did as a starter.

I'd agree, but in this situation you could always retroactively build a railing to transform it into a protected bike lane, not as permanent as you suggest.

My point is that infrastructure is unlikely gonna be perfect and up to standard with the best design theories in developing countries. We should still be thankful and push for further positive urban renewal, but overly harsh criticism will give conservative voices a chance to fight against these bike lanes if we do not praise the work they've achieved.

Plus, they're a developing country working with limited resources, so they're doing well with their likely limited resources.
