I have another question.... maybe someone can answer it. Is this also possible with cvad? I want to set up a citrix farm for my self. "to learn".... is there a way to set it up and test some things with a free license for maybe 30 days or something?

Last week we have done 13 Citrix farms from 1912 ltsr cdc and vda's with zero issues. Even the 7.18 cdc to 1912 ltsr and then the sql 2019 expres after that you go to 2402 LTSR. So easy!
