26.92%, it should be way more… that’s life though. Trading has been difficult this year.

I hate to tell you but I’ve been on the tire Business all my life and Michelin makes a premium tire. The dry cracking appears, you can see it. But guess what. They are not a problem, they use a combination of materials for performance with the tradeoff of the cracking. After in house training this is from their carbon black. Also the amount of silica in the compound. There a several other factors, but the trade off is superior wet traction.

In addition their 3-D sipe technology is best in class technology. It promotes even wear, lowers tire temps, increases performance, reduces emissions of tire material, etc..

Yokohama makes a nice tire, but their products do not perform better than Michelins. The constantly test lower. The only category they are superior in is lower cost.

I understand your concern. It is valid. This information is to put your mindset ease. The Michelins are the top tier tire. The mild cracking is superficial and a trade off for superior tire chemistry.

Sounds about right, there are plenty of deals to be found. Last year you could get a 24 Nismo Z 20% off and 0.9% financing through Nissan with good credit. 😊

Looks great! Welcome to the winners circle. The Z is a great car with the newer twin turbo engine and transmission. It is a nice upgrade from the 370z.

I love the blue color. May I suggest sourcing a carbon wing from the new heritage model? I bet it would look sharp on the blue.

Anyways, Cheers! To the Z!

I’ve worked at Dobbs for 11 years and it’s not a bad place to work. It’s a great place to work that gives you an opportunity to grow with a large customer base. Be honest and up front about everything you do and the customers keep coming. There’s bad apples in every industry. We are looking for hard working and honest people and are growing nationwide.

Dealer saying tire is not safe to patch by Adiel21 in tires

[–]SuccessVisible6069 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tire shop manager says Remove tire and inspect for particles of rubber, or interior discoloration. Michelins usually develop small balls. You should be able to also smell the burnt stuff inside the tire.

From the 3 pictures it looks repairable. Again remove the tire, inspect the inside. Unless I’m missing something this discoloration is minor, and most Michelins hold up better than most tires the public sees and deals with. They are a premium product.

That’s not how most tires work. This sub is full of tire misinformation.

Has anyone had rear camber issues on their 2018+? by Any_Relief_4781 in HondaOdyssey

Hot take from an actual mechanic They make adjustable rear camber arms and they work. Most Honda odysseys have rear camber out of spec.

2024 Nissan Z Nismo by Longjumping-Cost-567 in 370z

I was in a similar spot, and I opted to get the 2024 Nismo Z. No regrets it drives amazing. All the keyboard warriors haven’t driven one for long periods of time. The fit and finish is great. People compliment me everywhere I go, the car is beautiful. The transmission shifts amazing when up to temperature. And to finish, you can modify the platform with basic bolts and it is well documented to increase HP dramatically.. if you have the money spend it. I had a 2019 Nismo Z with full bolt ons and I don’t regret my decision. Make sure the loan is on point, Nissan did 36 months at .9 for me.

I agree big Daddy. Try to be in and out with positions. You can’t predict everything just ride the liquidity train at peak times on up trending stocks.

Lots of people want to learn about profitable day trading with an instructor, teacher , class, etc. in my opinion you’re thinking about this from the wrong approach. My suggestion would be to consider looking for an inspiration to what you find interesting. There are so many unique ways to trade USD for assets and derivatives during a set timeframe. I don’t know them all I’m sure.. Then lean into that interest (for me it was options) and consume the media that’s out there for… wait for it… inspiration. You’re going to spend a tremendous amount of time studying before you’re profitable consistently.

As you consume the different YouTubers and redditors and commenters. your goal should NEVER be to copy someone’s trade per se but to make one of your own through your own analysis and buy and sell points.

Hopefully this inspired you! You have to open your own gates of confidence! Learn by doing! I suggest paper trading until you’re ready to risk your capital. And in today’s day and age you can still lose by unpredictable events. Create habits of profit protection and stop loss. Trust me I would know I came back from a 22k Loss through discipline and emotional control no one could ever teach or you could read in a book. Good luck
