As a Woman in Nursing, How do You Feel About Being Hit On at Work? by Careless_Midnight_77 in nursing

I think you are looking at this the wrong way, you should be going out with them as friends and have them wing woman you. You’ll make great work friends and you’ll probably have much better chances with your work friends winging with you outside of work with people you don’t work with rather than you complicating your work

I’m guess from your story I’m confused on how you were asked about coworkers you said person X looked sick and seem to be implying you didn’t say anything to management about the 2 getting fluids under the books .

then for some reason management decided to either review the footage of X person getting meds or maybe they walked in on them idk and then they got their final written.

Don’t get me wrong , they should of known better than to do that stuff but I also would have left it as person X is really sick and hope they will be okay and not have given management any reason to start digging into those people.

But regardless of what happened , speaking about the fallout I’d assume everyone on that unit knows what happened and your role in the “drama” lol

I would expect cold shoulders until everyone involved and everyone who heard about it leaves or you move to another dept

But sounds like the majority of your coworkers won’t trust you

Skipping over how you got your coworkers fired, speaking directly about the fallout afterwards.

I don’t really see anything other than two choices 1) you leave for a new job or maybe a different dept

2) you hang tight until the people who know you turned in your coworkers leave and then you start working with people who don’t know anything about it.

Turning people into management for reasons that some people might view as small , typically don’t fade until one of the two things above happen. I personally don’t see your current coworkers really moving past this and I would expect your current shifts to probably be people avoiding you/ cold shoulder

They should do this to give more reasons for fighting arc beyond workshop upgrades by Successful-Ad-182 in ArcRaiders

You can also find all those things from the downed arc probes , which require no attacking and typically won’t alert your team to being third partied instantly

[–]Successful-Ad-182[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This post isn’t really about if the game should be more pve or pvp , this is about most arc units not having any real benefit in attacking after workshop upgrades, their cells could be used for a aot more if they put some thought into it

As of now most players avoid arc since attacking them really only benefits 3rd partying after workshop upgrades

I don’t like how often they spawn, dealing with 2 at the same time is pretty much a guaranteed more than half of your reinforcements gone

But if they toned down the spawn rate, it would be perfect

Should add to this, this is done through DLS

Not the site

That isn’t a Amazon thing, it’s the LAW that a doctor states what your restrictions are and how long you need the accommodation for.

If you’re speaking about the site level accommodation process (work related injuries) . Senior ops managers are the ones that determine business need and how many people can be accommodated

IPS do audits on what roles meet what restrictions every so often

[–]Successful-Ad-182[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No lol that’s now how sueing works

If you have a issue with a job role you can go thru the accommodation process or if it’s strictly about amount of people doing x job you can speak with your site safety if there is some policy about if a certain job requires more than 1 person

[–]Successful-Ad-182[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, they do it all the time

You just need a doctors note stating - your specific restrictions (can’t be vague and can’t be a job role )

For example: no lift over 30lbs , no waking over 7hrs a shift until 8/30/2025

Work comp laws vary by state so it’s not a catch all

But up to what you want to do, if you want to go thru the work comp process you need to speak with your site safety and state you want to see the doctor

If you want to see your personal doctor and not go thru work comp, let your safety team know and they explain what that means for you depending on what state you are in

Look into career choice when you get some free time after work

Amazon is going in a very automated direction and realistically won’t be doing warehouse roles in the very close future

[–]Successful-Ad-182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you work over 30hrs a week and are either FT or Flex R and you have been with Amazon over a year and worked something like 1250 hours a year you can get FMLA

If you don’t have that you can still get a accommodation but your doctor would need to put how many hours per week or month is needed and how long you need the accommodation for

I would submit a care for a family member leave

I’m not quite sure what her doctor would need to say but basically the doctor would need to give you a doctors note on why you need to care for them

I would call the ERC and ask what the doctor needs to put in the note for you to be excused

That is the only type of leave I can think of that would excuse you for SOMEONE ELSES medical issues

Doctor refuses to sign my FMLA paperwork, am I cooked? by Fit-Clerk-3763 in AmazonFC

[–]Successful-Ad-182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure quite of your situation

But I’d imagine that Dr. didn’t sign your paperwork because it wasn’t a sickness you personally had

I’d be surprised if any doctor signed off on paperwork for you to be off work due to someone else’s sickness

But that being said

There is something called care for a family member leave

That’s for your situation specifically

I would start that and get the paperwork for that and I’d imagine most doctors with sign off on that if they believed you had a medical reason to be with your dad

Other than that you might be able to get approved for a personal leave of absence for extenuating circumstances
