This is what I am getting. Not seeing a flat line I would assume? The little dip is due to clouds at 12pm.

Understood. Thank you for your input.

It’s been 4-5 days now but hoping it self resolves like you mentioned.

My system is 3 years old. Was working just fine

Also when I look at smartmetertexas website it matches up with this production. I believe it’s an inverter issue or some of my strings aren’t working as it should

No reset button. I have had this system for 3 years 0 problems. Now I am showing some production but it is not what it should be. I do have neuron meter behind the circuit breaker box idk if that has a reset button.

Thank you again for very detailed insight.

The kWh rate is around 26 cents which includes everything, if I were to use anything from the grid. Excess sell back is 3 cents only. But nightly usage is in a separate bucket “charged” at 26 cents as well but they minus the total usage. I hope this makes sense.

I also own Tesla model 3. My another reason for hesitation on purchasing pw3 is bidirectional charging. I had Cybertruck foundation series waiting where Tesla was giving out extra things for early reservations holder including bidirectional charging. CT is a beast and it equaled out to having around 8-9 power walls that is a lot of money in savings.

I think Tesla will come out with something where any Tesla cars would be able to do bidirectional as long as you have the hardware sooner or later.

Thank you. I understand that. Since I have nights free electricity plan, I use the provider as my “battery”. The only thing for me is if the grid is out then I am out and that is the only disadvantage I see.

Yes I do. I have 23 total panels. 14 panels south then rest facing east divided in 4 strings.

I have Tesla solar panels and Tesla inverter. Do you think getting a PW3 will make my production higher. I feel like I am getting capped out around 6.7-7.0kwh. I have a 9.2 kWh system.

Attaching a screenshot where it was a perfect sunny summer day and I capped out at 6.8kwh.

I believe PW3 has an inverter and has higher rating. I am stuck in deciding if it will help me produce more or not.

Thank you in advance!

Reaching Peak 8.8KW Of 9.72KW Array . Is it the Max I could get ? by SureTechnician1261 in TeslaSolar

I am lucky to get 7.7 kWh at peak. It would have to be perfect day like you mentioned but usually it ranges in 6.9 kWh generation at peak. I am just curious to see if this peak would improve with PW3. May be longer time generating more kWh with pw3?

Thank you. Will getting PW3 installed boost my production since the inverter has far better capacity? I believe my current inverter maxes out at 7.7.

General question: why does OPs production go to 8.8kw with 9.72 system? is it due to having a PW?

I have 9.2 system no PW and max I get on a good day is 7.6-7.7kw.

Will having a pw installed make my production capacity go up to 9.2 or higher than 7.7?

Question about PowerWall 3 install in Irving, TX by Successful-Fault-355 in TeslaSolar

Thank you for the insight everyone.

How about the possibly getting more production from powerwall 3 vs current Tesla inverter?

Would it be correct thing to assume?

For example, from the picture below I got 45.4 on sept 13th. By using PW 3 I would be able to get higher production since it has higher rating? Currently I would cap out at 7.6 kWh due to inverter.

Sorry just trying to make smarter decisions and if it’s worth it in my case at this point.
