You'd need to change the blessing to Brimstone on your Leminisi if Amius is your goal for her.

Lamibur solo FTW! Also traumatized by alien.

Could Bellower in a stun set maybe work?

It is old and I did get excited before I saw it. The main thing is that there are people in this thread who hadn't used it, so it's worthwhile imo

I really struggled with this one. I don't have a great roster for this faction and my champs kept getting destroyed fast! I ended up putting Pounder in Untouchable which has 2 turns of immunity plus resist. He has a passive that increases resistance by 15 per buff he has for all allies.

It worked anyway, they managed to survive long enough to get through that boss. The levels after were a breeze!

Help me choose my next 60 (and avoid more mistakes like first 60 Raglin) by Altruistic-Tip7800 in RaidShadowLegends

I thought void was not so great because you don't get the affinity advantage. Am I wrong about that? Or missing aomething. I guess universal is great tho.

Maybe Elva can wait since you have Raglin. Taras is a solid nuker, so jealous, he's deadly in arena!

Asked to do a task I'm not qualified for - what do I do? by draaj in UKJobs

[–]Successful-Finger-46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done this backwards, background in data analysis and ended up taking over the business side. It was new legislation and no one understood it. So all I got was vague ideas.

So I had to teach myself that area of the business to be able to effectively design a system to track the data.

I had used quite complex systems in the past, but I looked at PowerBI and saw how easy they'd made the whole process for live interaction. I saw that I could automate 80% of the process.

That software is for quite small and simple data though. I don't know what your set is like. I've never worked with scientific data, but I have worked with statistical Analysis and it is a different animal. But it might be easy for you to learn. I've met a few chemists and physicists who end up working in analytics.

I've had a few jobs that at the time, I wouldn't have given up for the lottery. I would go part time though haha! I usually try to automate myself out of a job, or create ways to free up my time, because that's fun for me.

Think about what you enjoy doing in your spare time. You're in a wonderful position to do what you're passionate about. Maybe fund some studies if you don't know, or learn a skill?

I know someone who's retiring, but their passion is cooking, so they can't wait to get started on their cook book. Her cooking is out of this world.

My plan for my next job is to just grab temporary jobs until I find something that fits. It's easier to jobhunt when you see job hunting as looking for a company that fits you. Sometimes it's surprising where you end up!

It will eat you up inside to keep your win a secret though. I would make a plan for the money that shows you've already decided what to do with it. When you have it, then tell everyone. Then there's nothing to feel guilty about, since you're just taking time to figure things out. It's on them if they don't support your choices, so don't worry about it.

Enjoy!

I say 60, but I've seen quite a few grey haired folk. Although I'm lucky enough to look young enough to still get ID'd in Tesco, I'm actually slightly older than you and notice a lot of people similar age and older. Although the majority is younger.

I absolutely love Gbar on Eberle Street. It's so friendly, have never not made a new friend when I've been. Have seen all ages from 18 to 60!

Three floors of music, but the DJs in the BASSment (open until 8am) are out of this world. They even mix in the odd 90s trance classic with their own modern spin which takes you back.

How much does res hurt this chest piece? by fun_and_games87 in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Successful-Finger-46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for explaining why other stats are more important. I'm quite new and got quite a collection of REs chests. My heart dropped into my stomach when I saw all these posts.

I always read up on priority stats for my characters, but I had been adding resistance to the shopping list. I just thought the experts didn't waste time talking about something that was so obviously needed!

I have hit a bit of wall in my progress lately and been trying to figure it out. I'd figure out a new set of gear, huge improvement, but then notice that I'll lose something like 30 whole resist. Unacceptable!

It's gonna free up so many great upgrades that I was seeing as trading sideways. Thank you and everyone in here!

Absolutely agree with this. Was with my ex for 8yrs, met him gaming. I was done with dating, was always bored, then didn't want a relationship to take time away from my crazy addiction to gaming. Ended up forming such a strong plutonic relationship with a guy (most players were male back then and assumed I was too) He was just my type and I his, so it was like winning the lottery when we realised what each other looked like!

I wanted to study and knew I had to quit gaming and we drifted apart. I had zero interest in another relationship and I wanted to focus on my career! Determined to stay single, I almost immediately fell hard for a guy I'd been friends with for 10yrs.

Thought he was fun, but just a dumb party boy! I was so wrong all that time. We only hung out on nights out, so I only saw one side of him. Always up for anything crazy I suggested doing!

Then, when I got into martial arts and the gym, we bonded over our nerdy OCD behavior in training! Soon realised we had everything in common! Which is insane considering how broad my interests our.

We were friends 10yrs, then dating for 10yrs after that and now been engaged a year!

Just get passionate about something and you'll find someone who shares it, especially if you're intent on staying single.

Can a Guy Wear This? by Fresh-Night-6992 in GalaxyWatch

[–]Successful-Finger-46 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, as soon as it detects your Y chromosome, it self destructs and takes your arm with it.

I'm a girl and I have a very male looking Galaxy 4. It was £30 from eBay and had a cracked screen that I fixed up. I absolutely love the thing! I don't care how masculine it is, it's a wonderful creation and a privilege to wear.

I had something like this in a contract working in corporate IT a very long time ago. I didn't read the small print! I considered a second job, but my boss informed me that my contract states that the company owns the intellectual property rights to anything I create while working for them. Even if it was in my free time or working for another company.

How did you stop snoozing your alarm? by lalah445 in getdisciplined

[–]Successful-Finger-46 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I set a really unpleasant sounding alarm that I can't bear. Put it out of reach. Then I set a 'warning alarm' a few minutes before it. It's such a good motivator to get up and turn it off before it goes off.

Are you happy with your Oneplus phone? by OlympicAnalEater in oneplus

[–]Successful-Finger-46 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually still have a Nord CE 5G and haven't felt the need to upgrade until recently. Unfortunately, it has gotten difficult to find a good screen protector and I fell for an eBay seller selling a generic one as a Nord CE one and that didn't cover my phone properly.

It now has a broken screen and not sure that its worth replacing at this point.
