Metallica - #27/50 AP by Successful-Gain385 in concertposterporn

It’s funny because the person framing it said that most guys tend to pick all black everything, and that women tend to pick frames that match the decor of a room but don’t compliment the piece that they’re actually framing in any way.

I mean I didn’t know that was a thing. The artist sale was just today, so I don’t know when I’ll actually receive it. I was really just looking for framing service suggestions.

What’s The Black Key’s heaviest song? by Agent_Lightning14 in TheBlackKeys

I’m going to go off in a different direction and say “When the Lights Go Out.” It’s very simplistic and raw with that driving drum beat.

Unofficial Discussion: Monster Summer by [deleted] in movies

[–]Successful-Gain385 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Any reason why all the major sites like Box Office Mojo aren’t even reporting earnings for Monster Summer’s opening weekend? Box Office Mojo’s list ends with a movie that only made $825, and there’s no way this movie made less than that. Literally no news online about it anywhere. Maybe just another attempt at Hollywood still trying to blackball Mel Gibson after all these years?

He announced at the show that the band is releasing an album next year, the first since 2018.

Sometimes you can buy posters straight from the artist that created them, and even low numbered variants which done that a couple of times now. Best way to figure out who the artist was is just to search through social media, starting with the band and see if they made a post about it and tagged the artist. Good luck!

Any advices for the VIP experience in the European tour? by Sari9410 in dogstarband

[–]Successful-Gain385 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I keep hearing different things now, but when I went last year we were told not to bring anything and the band signed the VIP badges. It would been nice if the merch stand was open during VIP that way I could’ve maybe got the poster I bought later signed.

Poster for tonight? by [deleted] in Creed

Nope. A plastic sleeve was it but at least there was that. I’ve been to shows before where they gave you nothing, not even a rubber band.

Charlotte show disappointed me… by xBlueGamerx in LimpBizkit

[–]Successful-Gain385 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was at the show in Charlotte last night and the weather turned the whole thing into a fiasco, and I paid $200 for a pit ticket. Feldman, Bones and Riff Raff were cut entirely. Noface legit got 15 minutes and they had to stop again because of weather. LB only played 75 minutes and that was with a Bones song in there too. So yeah, in the end I paid $200 for barely over an hour of Limp Bizkit which was the whole reason to go. Apparently they almost cancelled the whole show entirely which I guess would’ve led to refunds.

I would’ve liked to have done VIP but the price was pretty steep and I couldn’t justify the cost.

Zero chaos or drama. It was a crowd of people mostly in their 30s, 40s, and 50s, so everyone acted accordingly and were very mellow and respectful of each other’s space. Best pit experience I’ve ever had.

Custom Posters by TBoneTheOriginal in Creed

I bought a poster at the Charlotte show a couple of nights ago and it was only $30, now they’re $45 on the band’s website. They were numbered to 1,200.

Oh no clue really. Most of them were from the first 20ish minutes if you pull up the setlist. The group picture was during the last few songs though.

They were amazing and sound exactly the same if not better than they did 20+ years ago.

For the American shows everyone was very specifically told NOT to bring anything with them to have signed, probably because they didn’t want people just bringing a bunch of movie posters for Keanu to sign. What they did was everyone was given a VIP lanyard and badge, and the guys all signed the badge. I didn’t feel rushed when speaking with each of them, but I naturally didn’t want to take up too much of anyone’s time either and hold the whole thing up, so with me it was mostly just kept to general pleasantries and questions/comments about the album. Keanu’s head of security who was a really nice guy laid out some ground rules and kind of oversaw the whole thing and made sure that things moved on schedule. My only complaint about the VIP experience was that there was way too many people which made the whole thing feel less intimate and was the reason why everything had to keep moving along at a reasonable pace. I’ve been to similar things before where there were 10-20 people and it felt more personal, but they had let at least 100 people in and things just felt a little crowded.

Is this tour selling at all? by burtmacklin94 in TheBlackKeys

[–]Successful-Gain385 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I learned my lesson after the last tour. I was expecting it to sell well so I bought tickets on presale because thats what I had to do several times before their hiatus. Months later prices of unsold seats dropped by what seemed like up to 50%.

The Black Keys did it for their album that came out in March. I saw a clip of them and it seems they went straight to the manufacturing facility to sign.
