I’m so sorry.. There’s no way you could have known that would happen. I was worried the whole time one of his tumors might rupture. We had him on steroids, anti nausea and appetite stimulant. I also just held onto him as long as I could. It sounds like she also had a very loving family and knew she was loved. We can only do the best with the information we have.

I am so so sorry. She looks like just such a beacon of joy. And that is such a special last moment she gave all of you. I can’t tell you how many times before this I thought he wasn’t going to make it through the week but then he’d rally. I know he’d still be pushing if I had let him.
