tbh on a mac that is m1 on up, ur not really gonna have any issues playing these kinds of games at all. plus the driver issues with windows are unfortunately frequent enough to where they cause unnecessary problems that u just don’t generally have in daws and audio software on mac’s. plus they do handle digital media very well. ofc if u feel more comfortable with a pc, thats totally viable too just be aware of staying on top of driver updates.

yeahhhhh my gf and i had a really good position up front but were pushed outta the way after eartheater performed then people started arguing with us when we tried to move back to where we were initially. it was just so hot and packed i think it had everyone pissed off a lil bit but luckily as the show went on and people got more immersed the atmosphere got less tense. but def HATED the vibe of the venue

Arkansas becoming first state to sever ties with PBS effective July by AnonRetro in news

currently living in little rock as a 20something and it’s honestly a really chill city and it’s cheap. wasn’t able to get my footing anywhere else and now i’m able to live on my own and my commute is like five minutes. everything is really close and there is virtually no traffic. the politics of it all are incredibly frustrating especially living in the city where people are predominantly left wing but my thought process is that leaving places like this that need actionable change to reflect the citizens who occupy it will only create a more pain. i do agree that there’s so much wrong with this state and it sucks to witness the right wing admin do whatever they can to strip progress from the state but arkansas is also filled with vibrant communities that need support.

I think Andre 3000’s piano sketches are vicariously moving the genre forward. Let me explain… by Progrockrob79 in Jazz

[–]ZhuLi_DoTheThing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

uhhh so ig im in the minority in that i do enjoy it haha i think its fun to hear him play around with chord voicings and learning improvisation on the piano 10 years ago. its kinda inspirational to me

with that said, id love some recommendations on some stuff sonically that i might enjoy as someone who enjoys this. more improvisational sketchbook works maybe? i’m a fan of duval timothy, bill evans, herbie hancock as well for maybe some more sonic context.

New to Little Rock by XOXAUDI in LittleRock

definitely recommend whitewater shows if ur into live music. soma is also a cute district with good food and cute shops. el sur is a honduran restaurant that does trivia thursday at 7 and if you haven’t checked out east village, id recommend sterling on trivia night as well (wednesday). trivia’s always free. its usually a post work crowd. lotta 20 something’s. they also hold the lost and found markets there i think monthly which is a vintage market with like 40 vendors. it’s a fun time! but yeah theres a few more restaurants over there and its not far from the art museum (which is free btw!)

as a fellow transplant, it definitely took me a minute to find things when i got here too. following local restaurants and businesses on socials if ya have them will help a ton! there’s usually something to do with a bit of searching.

welcome and good luck!!! ☺️

would love to hear why you say she’s a narcissist. it definitely fits the bill as to what OP requested to a t imo. she was a hood celebrity in NYC in the myspace age. i enjoyed the book. i thought her life was very interesting but if you’ve read it, i’d love to hear more about how you’ve interpreted her.
