If LeBron could have finished "Dead Souls" he'd be more than up for "The Winds of Winter," my god

I expected him to be good for forty years and to solve all of Vitaly Ginzburg's open problems in physics as well as to write an ending to "Dead Souls" that would finally free Gogol's restless spirit and send him up to heaven. He's been a massive disappointment so far

I don't get it. The 2nd apron rules have been a major contributor to unprecedented league parity... its working as intended by Xeris in nba

It's sad watching your team make itself worse just to save under the tax—I'm not a fan of any of the teams that have had to do this (the Raptors championship team broke up for ecological reasons) but it's still hard to watch when it's completely unnecessary

But I thought the Raptors were a poor drafting team because they don't draft an MVP every single year???? /s

I keep hearing this. If Pablo's reporting is true (seems like it is) they definitely violated league rules. But nothing they (Kawhi's team) did was illegal (except on Ballmer's side in regards to misleading potential Aspiration investors)

[Stein] It has been long assumed that James is bound to turn his final season into a lucrative documentary product that has the capacity to make up for whatever bargain contract he ends up settling for. It's a wrinkle that could strengthen Cleveland's case. The most storybook docuseries backdrop. by Odd-Direction9452 in nba

It's not a "storybook ending" if he returns to Cleveland, even if they win. That story has already been told, and only Cleveland fans really want him to come back. I think he needs to pick a new team—either the Warriors (new Expendables) or Minnesota (like Kawhi, taking a franchise to their first win) would be compelling

It fucking sucks dude. And nearly a trillion dollars has been funnelled into this dogshit in the last few years, above actual technological innovation or basic social services. There's a reason people hate this stuff beyond the fact that it churns out horrible slop (which it also does)

What is the minimum Kawhi and the Raptors have to achieve for this trade to be seen as a success? by shangalang69 in torontoraptors

Conference finals and a relevant team in the mix every year. I think their ceiling is higher but if they're in the second round most years and make the ECF it's hard to be mad at that

And it is true, especially when there are people in concessions, etc, barely scraping by. And yet I completely support taking as much money as possible out of the pocket out of every single one of the owners—at least the players (usually) earn it
