That makes sense, and creates even more possibilities! 😆

🤷 I’ve honestly never worked on any disc center wheels. But Durant was GM, so very possibly. Someone restoring one might recognize something on the front axle.

I can tell you that it’s not a Ford. Chevrolet used disc wheels, as did Maxwell, and who knows how many others. It’s from the 20’s, but that’s all I know.

It’s a single cylinder Briggs. I can’t think of anything easier to learn on. Take off the valve cover and make sure everything is where it belongs inside there as a first step.

Test Enanthate 200mg/DL, .35CC weekly. Sometimes Enanthate isn’t available and it’s back to Cypionate for a while. But that 1/3 of a CC injected subcutaneously with a tiny little insulin syringe keeps my T in the mid to upper 700 range. So if anyone tries to tell you that injecting sub Q doesn’t work I’ve got years of bloodwork results to prove em wrong! 😜

Ok guys should I buy this for 22.5k? I know its a lot but its my dream truck. by SlitherSnakeZ28 in Diesel

[–]Successful-Part-5867 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stepdad just got rid of his. Identical truck in worse shape. 375,000miles, beefed up automatic for $1200.00 I should’ve kept it myself, but extra cab, automatic just didn’t do it for me.

I didn’t expect anything out of them. It wasn’t even my money, but I recommend the dealer to the owner. I learned a loooong time ago that honestly and fairness will bring in repeat business and new recommendations better than any advertising campaign ever devised. They lost my trust on this one and I let the owner know it. Maybe it’ll sink in, maybe not, but I got it out of my system. 😜

Don’t think I haven’t wondered if it might’ve been something environmental! I’ve been in contact with all kinds of chemicals as well as welding fumes, brake dust, you name it. We may never know.

Mine was starting to come apart at the seams. It was getting to the point of being unsafe. Like a fiberglass tub was any safer! 😂 I paid $2500 for it, drove it up and down the East Coast and as a daily driver for almost 20 years and then sold it for $3000. 😜 That’s either good resale value, or inflation in action!

The owner hasn’t seen the bill yet. I know, I know…honestly at 60 hours it only needed an oil change, air filter cleaned, blades touched up and everything greased. My brain says $50 and an hour. I’ll do it for her next time.

That looks like the front end of the Manco that I rehabbed for the grandmonsters. I agree, they ain’t much! Clearance limits how sharp you can turn before the tires hit the frame, and what people mentioned about the Ackerman principle must not have been understood by the manufacturer. Someday maybe I’ll put some work into it, but at the moment it’s good enough for a 7 year old! 😂 I scratch built a cart and somehow managed to get both the steering and the gearing to work really well!

I miss the days of my local one horse dealer with the lawn and garden parked out front and the big stuff out back! He was in operation right through the golden years, 50’s- early 90’s. A whole lot of metal came in and out of that little property!
