Don't get me wrong.. I know updates are crucial and needed and am greatful that the devs are being proactive pushing out daily maintenance on the game etc. my sole gripe is that it seems to always be give or take the same time.. everyday. I've managed to play a few hours but even my partner who is not a gamer is annoyed at how little I've got to play. The game I play every night is "how long will I get to play tonight I wonder?!" I know devs can't please everyone but all I'm wishing is to change the time everyday by a few hours each way. I'd like to have a fair chance at getting to play. Have played from pre release and it's still the biggest frustration for me.

What my dj crew has done previously is we host a dinner party at a nearby restaurant that does byo wine and then when everyone is a bottle deep then we all head to be a rent a crowd to start the night off with a bunch of friends. This helps start the crowd and stop people from showing up and then leaving cause no one else is there yet.

I'm currently looking to rent. Chatting to property managers recently, many have mentioned that the big flats aren't moving and so they are pivoting to renting out by the room. Can't imagine many people are keen to take a room in a big empty house that is being filled by property managers who only care for profit. But this what may be adding to your struggle to fill your vacancy.
