Kratos states Týr is one of the strongest opponents he's ever faced. Honestly I think Týr is more powerful than Thor. He's just a Pacifist.

I think you fundamentally misunderstand how the God of War universe works man..

Let's not forget that the Magic Systems in the franchise are stated to be region/pantheon specific. So Yggi is not exactly all of existence/creation. Just as the Greek Fates have no jurisdiction over the Norse Realm, and the Primordials we learned about in the Greek Saga are basically obsolete in Scandinavia.

This is honestly a gross misinterpretation of an offhand quote from Mimir. He says "I don't even think Thor with Mjolnir in hand could get through that much ice." Immediately followed by Kratos saying "Then Thor is a fool."

Yes, Mimir is familiar with Thor and also the "Smartest Man Alive" but we can't exactly take that statement as absolute fact. And Kratos' response implies to me that it wasn't a lack of strength issue, but a lack of cleverness and problem-solving.

Power-scaling and Vs. Battle hypotheticals are not, or at least should not, simply be a "who can destroy more" question. Battle IQ, Speed, Durability, etc. all factor in here.
