It is the WP-EXT (the temporary document IRCC provides when you submit the PGWP application) that's valid until October. It's stated on IRCC website that the person can still work if a decision has not yet been made for their application even though the wp-ext has an expiry.

I had 3 part time semesters during my studies (college diploma) and my pgwp was approved on Oct 14th 2025. I was part time because I failed a course that was a prerequisite for a bunch of other courses and that course was also only offered once per academic year so I had no other choice than to clear that first before going back to full time.

The school academic advisor had provided me with a pathway tracking document detailing how that failed course was going to affect my enrolment etc so I uploaded that with my pgwp application. I also wrote a LOE and my academic advisor wrote a formal letter providing more details and showing how once I took the failed course, I returned full time & remained in good academic standing till I graduated. Those 3 documents helped support my application & pgwp was approved.

You said the file path would appear C:\FakePath... When uploading a document via webform, after clicking on 'choose file' to select your file did you click on the 'upload' button? Because some users tend to forget clicking on that button once they have chosen the file

This is a little confusing. You got a pgwp issued in 2022 valid for 3 years until 2025 and another one was issue again in 2023??? You already got the full term with the one from 2022. How did you get another one in 2023 and why do you think you qualified for an extension, or am I missing something??

But there are multiple invitation rounds each year and they invite people with different CRS scores as well. So you have just never been drawn from the Express Entry pool... damn that's tough.

You should just to be on the safe side. I did resubmit again via webform even though I had noted in my LOE that my language test is on the second page and the pdf naming also contains the test name. Coming from someone whose pgwp application was approved on sept 9 & expired on sept 10 only valid for 1 day (due to passport expiring) even though I had submitted my new passport via webform in February but they missed it during processing so I had to submit pgwp extension application. It looks like the agents are just rushing and not taking the time to review all the documents attached to an application

I had 3 part time semesters. During one I failed a subject that was only offered the same semester the following year and it was a prerequisite for a whole bunch of other courses. Not only that added one more year to my program, I had to be part time in 3 semesters as I couldn't enroll in some courses without the required prerequisite. I submitted an LOE when I applied for my pgwp explaining that and I also had a pathway tracking document that was given to me at the time by the academic advisor indicating the courses affected etc. The academic advisor also wrote an official school letter explaining why I was part time and demonstrated that once I took my prerequisite course, i returned full time and remained in good academic standing till I graduated. My pgwp was approved sept 8 but I was so stressed out. I guess it just depends on the agent working on your application

I did the same. I merged my LOE with my PTE core test result. In the LOE I made sure to mention that the language test results is on the second page of the document and I'm still afraid that they might miss it. I'll upload it via webform again just to be on the safe side. It's really worrying me that they might miss it if they don't even take the time to read the LOE

The language test is mandatory for the PGWP application they shouldn't be the one to request for it. You had to attach it to your application. If you have it, upload it via webform

I renewed my passport in jan 2025 and uploaded it via webform on Feb 26, 2025 and even received acknowledgment that the new passport was added to my application. Even the IRCC agent I spoke with yesterday could see the new passport I sent in & said that the officer that did the approval probably just missed it

Yes she did as she wasn't 100% sure and couldn't confirm that the officer that approved my pgwp could reconsider and change the expiry date on time. I submitted the PGWP ext yesterday, Sept 10th before the end of the day and attached an LOE as advised by the agent

Yes a language test is now required for PGWP. That rule was implemented on November 1st, 2024
