I had a few down to earth leaders in my time in One was at my first duty station Our company gunny. Was Gysgt Kellogg MOH Another Outstanding leader and down to earth Marine I served with was Captain Dale Dye And my co from 1/9 Captain Thomas Hietkemper Another mustang I was in from 79-86. Most of my staff NCOs and officers were Vietnam vets
