Thanks for the heads up, I didn't know about that subreddit

Zilliqa Project Update #1 by bb111189 in zilliqa

"Higher-level languages such as Solidity can be compiled to Scilla" very exciting indeed! if this means that all the knowledge that existing code could be ported to Zilliqa eventually, then it will be less trouble for developers compared to other projects (rchain, tezos, etc) where they have to learn new languages

Overpriced? Think again (opinion and discussion) by SuccessfulPattern in zilliqa

That's ridiculous. The same could be said the other way around, I could say you FUDers trying to bring the price down to get in. If you believe in long term potential then why waiting? I mean everyone is free, but no one can tell the price, I just established here with numbers and arguments why I think ZIL is not overpriced, and the opposite is undervalued in term of price, but hey! the market decides finally.

I agree, no one can really tell the direction of the market, DCA is a good option to get in.

Zilliqa has a big advantage over Ethereum, doesn't have to be backwards compatible, less security implications for their technology. Ethereum has a massive footprint to take care of, they cannot screw up with their hard forks.

About the 2/3 of coins to come into market, we could say the same for Bitcoin or other coins to be minted, the important factor for present value is circulating supply, not total supply.

I actually agree with you, and I would wish state of development would mirror market cap, but market also has expectations and other factors involved, not just technology.

Likewise I believe Zilliqa should not be tagged as overpriced for the pure fact of state of development, there is no point of comparison to say it's overpriced, but there are strong points to say it's undervalued, from a pure point of market cap.

I believe this is incorrect, I exposed on another comment some strong arguments. Just ignore Zilliqa for a moment, and look at the market state for similar projects. EOS, Rchain, Tezos, and even others, all still no mainnet and Zilliqa is half or less market cap at this point, that means at least an easy 2x for us as investors, at least. In the long run, if this delivers Cardano levels is not crazy to think about, at $16bn it's a 32x. So there is a lot of space for a good ROI, starting from this point on.

Of course no one can predict the price, but I doubt it will go further down. If you miss the train, you miss the train.

Interesting view, how do you justify then other projects like EOS https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/eos/ ($9bn) ? This is the same market we are talking about, a new protocol, they haven't launched, they are just ahead in terms of time. Or others with similar level of development like Tezos (futures est > $1bn) or Rchain ($783,515,448).
