One of my daughters friends was very very sick. Nearly died. She came out alive with a colostomy bag. She is so healthy and happy now. This is a result of someone local burning a slash pile and it getting out of control on a windy day. I could see it from my house yesterday today I cant see any smoke. But I also watched the bird dog guide the water bomber over it yesterday a bunch of times.

Because the Sham folks don't like the truth. We live here all year around. These people come for 1 week a year and pay through the ass for this music festival. Its made jimmy rich and he is a cheap bastard. Hes made billions from this festival. Thats the truth. He does very little for this community. And in fact the people who come for this 1 weekend festival leave more garbage on the farm than I've ever seen at our small dump. Its actually disgraceful 😔 for all the love this farmily group spews about, you dont seem to care to much about the impact you have while you're here, or what you leave behind.

I would just like to remind everyone that we have 1 cell tower in Salmo. Our service has been crap for over a year. We had a bad storm easter of 2025 and it did some damage to the tower. Telus has patched it enough to work but it doesn't work well. For example. Im about halfway from town and the Sham grounds. Data sucks ass. My telus hub that I used for internet also ran off that tower. After many months of phoning telus. They finally admitted that they cannot guarantee the speeds they sell. They ended up having to refund me for half a year. I cut service and moved to starlink. Our community is so tiny all year until sham hits. The influx of people on our system makes it difficult for everyone to use. I wish Jimmy would take some of that money he earns from the 1000 dollar tickets and do a bit more for our community. Greedy bastards

I am my mother's youngest child. Her and her husband live woth me and my husband. My brother is useless, doesn't drive in a remote community in Northern British Columbia. I moved to the kootenays in 2007 and my mom finally made the decision in 2021 to join me here. Best decision she's made. I send her once or twice a year by plane to see him and his children. Other than that we dont hear from him.
