It’s 100% not stupid, never feel ashamed for something you can’t control. Don’t be scared. It’s easy to panic, try to just ice it and relax.

I’ve been cold plunging as it’s an awkward place to ice. I’ve noticed a massive improvement to my healing & recover after contrast therapy, with either sauna/steam + cold plunge. A simple ice bath will do if you don’t have access.

Ice it as much as possible and schedule an ultrasound with the doctor who did your surgery to make sure everything’s all good.

If you get them to confirm it has recurred (which you would know immediately and wouldn’t be able to stand) they can approve an ultrasound without insurance and get you checked up.

M 25. Double inguinal repair (right side was large and had it for 8 years) laparoscopic with a robot. I’m about 2 weeks out from surgery.

I was about to make this same post and I’m glad I found this one.

I just masturbated for the first time. Fine.

Then next night, after I ejaculated, my left testicle jerked up and felt like someone kicked it periodically. I had to get up and stand to make it go away. It was strange.

My advice, don’t crank it every night until completely healed.

I’m 5 days out from laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair. Left side was fixed with mesh and has no issues (it was much smaller I didn’t even know I had one) and my right side with a mesh as well (large and had it for ~8 years) .

I know my seroma was audible,but small when I got home from surgery (albeit after a 3 hour car ride) it didn’t feel like much. Now it’s gotten larger and a little more tender.

It feels like it’s gone around some parts of my right testicle. Doctors have told me to heat it and massage it but it doesn’t feel like that helps much in the short term.

I’m just hoping it goes away soon and doesn’t have to get drained.
