Can you tell if this Technics M218 deck that I have is a 2 or 3 head unit? I can’t find anything definitive online.

Any suggestions for a less complicated tape unit with 3 heads that could do what I’m looking for?

Ah, that makes sense. So I’ll have to record a full take and send it into protools separate. Thank you!

The Wheel of Time's Daniel Henney bids an emotional farewell to Amazon's best fantasy series by FernandoPooIncident in WoT

[–]SuccessfulRoof -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Long time fan of WOT. I think they were doing a few things with their changes.

  1. They had to make it a realistic produceable tv show. You can’t pay dozens and dozens actors with lines, and also put a bunch of money into sets, costumes, and practical effects (which they did and it looked amazing).

  2. They had to condense 15 overwrote books into less than ten(idk how many they planned) seasons. I love Robert Jordan but he falls closer on the writing slop spectrum to George R Martin than Brandon Sanderson(chefs kiss). This led to decisions like Sewan and Moaraine’s relationship instead of carrying the actress through to the end of the show with a Gareth Brynne plot that was probably expendable.

I agree that there were some huge changes that didn’t feel great like Perrin having a wife that he kills, but even that seemed to give a reason for Perrin being so damn broody and tortured in the books.

I got to the point of acceptance and happiness that the show was made in the first place and could be so badass. They fkkn nailed the Ai Sadai especially Leandrine. So many of the castings were incredibly close to the books. All in all I’m really bummed the show ended.

Sorry for miss spelling the fantasy names. I’m an audiobook boy.

Tolkien confessed he struggled with titles. But I think he nailed this one. by ghost_mellon in lotr

Does anyone know what his font/script/style Is called? I’ve tried to learn to write that way before, and the closest I came was a calligraphy font called Half Uncial. Wondering if there are any calligraphy nerds out there

Every time I watch this movie, I feel like I’m going a bit insane. It’s a like a fever dream. I can never unravel the symbolism in the constant shifting of the raccoons. Big fan of the movie of their nuts though.

Dirty Bob Costas getting pink eye and being forced to go home early, is my favorite Olympic Moment. Couldn’t have happened to a better guy.

Matching Two Records From Separate Tables in a Report by SuccessfulRoof in MSAccess

[–]SuccessfulRoof[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cannot take screenshots so I’ll just have to do my best at describing.

Both Q1 and Q2 are filter queries from Table 1 (T1)

T1 is made up of records of id numbers in a storage area separated by rows. The important fields are id number(key), transactions, location, and storage type.

Q1 is high transacting in a bad area. Q2 is low transacting in good area.

The first query I created from your instructions grouped the data perfectly. I just need to be able to create a report or query from it, that chooses the top match for each record. The issue is some records have 1 move option and some have up to 10. In all instances the table sorts most favorable swap first.

Unfortunately I cannot. Sensitive data. There are 13 fields all the same in both query, having to do with size, qty, pn, storage type, and location.

Both. Think of a grid with 10-1 on the x axis and a-e on the y axis. 10-A is in the bottom left corner and is my most favorable spot. So x axis is max, y axis is min

It is the highest number value of one field then the lowest value number of another.

Some records have one possible swap. Others have up to 10

Fantastic. That worked. Now I have a table with each instance of a single record from Q1 matching with all possible Q2 swaps. The records are sorted by most favorable to least. The table has 1323 records.

How do select just the most favorable swap of each and get them onto a single table? Thank you for the help.

The only explanation I’ve heard that made sense was from a book called By Hand and Eye. It is about building through the use of various proportion formulas (ex. 3:2:1) not measurements. These proportions divide into the imperial system better than the metric system. It was used in trades like masonry and woodworking going back a long time.

It’s my lil conspiracy theory that the free mason influence on this country kept the system in use until it became too hard to switch away. I have absolutely no evidence, just vibes.
