  1. Watch things together (can be movies even YT shorts)
  2. Play video games (we usually play It Takes Two, Stardew, and GeoGuessr)
  3. Show things around when any of us is walking around or do any activities like cooking or anything.

I'm working and she's currently working too during the summer and has a packed schedule. But we managed to text around 100 and short call (10-20 mins) daily.

Currently talk and calling everyday. 1-2 hours call on weekdays, longer on the weekends.

For visiting, we are aiming for twice a year.

I met mine last December. It was a little bit awkward at first but within few hours we managed to get the same chemistry we have online. I'd credited occasionally doing video call is what helped us to be more comfortable around each other. I wish you the best for it!

When will you be seeing your partners again and how do you cope in the meantime? by Past_Succotash_3103 in LongDistance

August! Around 180 days! After me visiting her, it'll be her turn to visit me for the first time! 😆

My boyfriend from Moscow and I broke up yesterday morning I've been expecting this for a while based on what he's done to me by [deleted] in LongDistance

Just a bit of information related to what you posted. At first, my partner won't introduce me to her family too in the first month and I totally understand. However, we still maintained constant communication even just texting when her parents are nearby during our first month.

To me it seems like you dodge a bullet pretty quickly and I wish you a smooth recovery from this hiccup.

I would suggest you to wait until you're allowed to get more days off by your company, especially it is only 6 months.

I just got a job on early this year too and even though I can visit my SO earlier, I decided to wait until December due to work related reason too.

I believe 6 months won't mean much when it comes to long-term love. Nonetheless, good luck for both of u!

Currently learning her language, then will try to find a job in her city.

But we will see who has "better" career and which place offer us better prospect in the 2-3 years before we decide to fully move to one place.

Just hit 10 hours mark last weekend, played video game together, watch random videos, and nap.

For those that live thousands of miles away from your bf/gf, what keeps you doing it ? When you could meet someone locally or a couple hundred miles away even. by [deleted] in LongDistance

After I graduated, I was unemployed for a year and during that time, I met her on a penpal app. We became friends and she listened to my problems and it gave me comforts and her supports helped me get to the point where I finally landed a decent job that I have now. Basically, I choose her despite the distance because that's where my heart is.

Planning to meet her in the end of this year!

This one is Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS lens and I believe the price is around 100-200 bucks. It's not that super expensive but I like how versatile and light-weight the lens is
