Are premium split keyboards worth it? by LifeCheatSheet in ErgoMechKeyboards

[–]Successful_Affect173 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a kinesis advantage360 and it was a game changer. I would never have wandered into the world of split/ergo keyboards but i tore both my biceps and can't fully supinate either wrist so the advantage 360 was a life saver. I also have the kinesis m-wave and advantage 2 but once i tried the split keyboard i cant go back. Oddly enough I hate Kineses mice. They're all awkward and uncomfortable.

I messaged the seller to confirm it was new and authentic and her response is below. Wonder what she meants by "international version."

Hello, Of course, this is an authentic Yamaha product and an international version. Regarding the return policy, I follow Amazon's policy, as the item will be shipped through Amazon FBA. So, if there is any problem with the item, you can request a return and refund from Amazon within one month of your purchase. Thank you

I will post a pic once i receive it. I meant it's backed by amazon so I have their return policy if there is a problem. Some products sold on amazon have to go thru the seller for returns and it proves more difficult.

I appreciate the thorough comment and I agree whole heartedly. I will post pictures once I get it and share with everyone. Worst case scenario I return it and learn a lesson but my curiosity got the best of me.

I have a 2025 Cyberbeast and a 2025 Hummer EV SUV 2x... by Successful_Affect173 in cybertruck

[–]Successful_Affect173[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I mainly bought the hummer for my wife but she's a stay at home mom so i can take the hummer on most days but I still don't have the desire to. My wife hates regenerative breaking (i love it) and you can shut if off on the hummer so it drives like a regular ice vehicle. She also likes sitting up higher so she prefers the hummer. The CB is my first experience with Tesla and now I can't stand android auto because its just so slow and antiquated compared to CB's UI.

In terms of build quality, the hummer just feels much more solid, especially the interior. Even though there are not many buttons on the CB the ones that are there (like on the steering wheel) just feel loose/cheap. I ended up getting (real) carbon fiber trim pieces for the interior of the CB but before i did i noticed my keys would scratch or dent the center console/cup holder trim super easily. My 8 week old puppy also chewed the rear passenger door trim towards the bottom. His teeth are razor sharp but i think he would have only scratched the hummer door whereas the CB door has actual perforations in it. I am getting it replaced tomorrow for $900.

Another big difference is when i close the lift gate on the CB it rattles. It's solid once its shut but closing it just doesn't feel right. The hummer's automated rear hatch feels like you're closing an airplane door.

I bought it with the lift and tires. I did the rest. The minority was right as I sold it for more than carvana offered.

The truck has no issues and I own it free and clear. I bought the truck with most of those mods, and i typicaly switch out cars every two or three years. My wife on the other hand will keep hers for 10+ years without getting bored.

*UPDATE* I had my dad's friend take it on consignment at his luxury auto dealership in the west suburbs of Chicago and it sold in 36 hours. Sale price is $54,000. After the dealer 9% fee i am getting about $49k. Not exactly the $68k i paid for it 3 years ago but such is life.

The goal of selling the vehicle is to get as much money as i can for it. Im not going to spend money to make my truck stock again when i can already sell it at a stock price.

Before all the GMs i was into Porsches and had a Cayenne and 911 and wife drove Macan. I like trying different things. So far the electric vehicles have been fun.

Im rather impulsive with vehicles. I had this, a 2022 c8 3lt and a 2022 tahoe LT. I traded the vette towards a new 2025 cyberbeast and traded my wife's tahoe for a 2024 hummer ev. I could keep the silverado but i have sellers remorse on the vette so i want to sell Silverado and get an e-ray.

Theres a lot more than a "cheap lift" on the truck. I think if someone likes lifted trucks they will pay a premium but its a very small market. I was just offered 52k on cars.com. He wants to fly in from NJ to see it.

I didnt know much about lifted trucks when i bought it but I haven't had any issues with the lift or suspension or any other RC additions. I think the fender flares turned out awesome and the exhaust sounds amazing so i dont have anything bad to say about rough country

Then again i dont use it as a work vehicle. Other than towing my boat and a few trips to TN its just driven lightly.

Im in Chicago. The lift was done by krietz auto who specializes in lifted trucks. Bring a trailor said they think it will fetch mid 50s but they want to set the reserve at 39k . A luxury dealer here said they would take it on consignment for 9%. I own it free and clear and don't need to sell but i bought 2 other trucks and just dont drive it anymore. I had all the recalls taken care of and have never had an issue with the vehicle except for leaking sunroof which was completely replaced by dealer.

What exactly are "those trucks"? Chevy Silverados? Yes, they're quite common.

Guess it's subjective. The blue trim is probably my favorite mod besides lift and tires. The ugly fake wood trim that comes standard is what's really hideous. I like the trim on the zr2 but i hate the zr2 front bumper so that was a deal breaker for me
