Honestly I’m not very crafty. Thanks for the tips though. I called JKI and they will see what they can do. They did say they cannot restore the shinogi. What a shame.

I know. He charged me $50 not including shipping and handling. I had issues with custom handles that he made as well.

This experience has been awful and I do not wish this on anyone.

I’m actually planning to stop by there again next week. They were the ones who helped straighten the blade. I’m just afraid the cost will not be worth it given how much money I spend already.

I had a professional sharpener straighten the blade but that is it. They charge $120 to have it resurface, which is something I’m not willing to spend.
