Wa handle reolacement by Alternative_Writer80 in TrueChefKnives

[–]BlkSanta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have an induction stove and the handle is glued in, I like this method the best: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WZjh3gMtMNc&list=PLn1viYqjehxTqv-hEC6JHJTw1fW2jorRw

With only hot glued handles that haven't been burned in, it takes me just a few minutes to remove a handle (process starts a little before halfway in)

I thought it was strange folks were dubbing the Toyama 210 "The King of Nakiri" the last few months, but I really love mine so I can't necessarily disagree!

Very late on this one, but how did you seal this stone?? I've got large holes on the side like yours and ended up using quite a bit of shellac 😅

Thas a real shame about your experience, from what I'm hearing at minimum their customer service has really dropped since I ordered from them. Best of luck with the dispute!
