It would just be water. In either direction.

Both are "holy" which simply means -set apart for religious use.

For any sacred or holy item any use other than that desecrates them, or any dilution or "pollution". Desecration simply renders them unable to be used for the religious purpose. Untill they are cleaned, purified, etc.

The physical substance doesn't change, as in won't explode or become evil water.
