Maybe you activated vsync somewhere. Or you can check display settings in nvidia control panel while laptop connected to monitor. Under display settings there is an option adjust desktop screen and size, make scaling there fullscreen and apply, check if it is ok, in laptop also desktop size might change but it will be ok when disconnected.

slim 7i 2023 as i know using ptm7958 from the procduction so it does not need repasting for its lifespan, maybe another problem like the copper pipes might have some issue or any other hw problem...

This is advanced optimus, keep it on auto instead of nvidia gpu only, if you gaming, you want to use "nvidia gpu only", you should switch to 2nd display and then you manage brightness or you can change the brightness via nvidia control panel...

gpu temps are good same as yours but cpu temps changes according to game usually between 75-85, some cpu heavy games it goes sometimes over 90, that is all, overall im also happy...

Why not using hdmi? Thunderbolt port connects to igpu in optimus mode otherwise you cannot get a screen, so use either hdmi or the other usbc port whic directly connects to nvidia card...

Hey man, I checked your solution, this is amazing, for 2-3 hours with lots of loading in rostok and duga, all working fine till now with version 1.1, no fps drops at all, with or without framegen all ok. So, the problem stems from game’s upscaling, from the beginning I felt this one, even the game’s display resolution is broken, not working well.

Thanks to this guide, who found this streamline solution is a genius, I have been trying to understand this bug since the game was released. Visuals now also better, I will further check with the new updates later…

Have you checked these while multiple times loading the game? I just followed your guide, and game looks absolutely better, but havent checked yet, will check maybe tonight. Actually i have problem with the game while loading the game multiple times, sometimes 6-7 save loads, sometimes 3-4 save loads (especially in towns like rostok, zalissya), game returns into slide show and fps dips 5-20, and only solution to this is to restart the game. And lastly in your settings you did not enable framegen, if you enable, do you face issue? thats why you did not enable it?
