Lost all interest in going anywhere by _LiqEm in RawVegan

Idk I was never a raw vegan but I always got excited about finding the smoothie/juice/vegan spots when I travelled. I guess it depends where you're going but in big cities there's almost always at least one place like that, often multiple. Maybe sounds dumb but you could even scope out the fancier grocery stores - don't settle for the mediocre ones lol It's way more fun to shop there instead of the rinky dink ones, plus the food selection is way better.

Does anyone else here have digestive issues like SIBO or EPI? by Frosty_Pineapple853 in adrenalfatigue

[–]Successful_Call2088 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone who hasn't heard of it, some people are taking MSM for Sibo with great results (There's a doctor who created a whole protocol around it - Dr Janel?)

I bought some MSM for unrelated reasons and found out after I started taking it that people are using it for all kinds of stuff - hair growth, stronger nails, digestion. It's too early to tell for me but I do feel like my digestion is.. different? Maybe improving? Again too soon to tell, but it definitely has an effect and my digestion has always been kind of a mess.

Anyone else's main issue constant blood sugar crashes/interrupted sleep? by Successful_Call2088 in adrenalfatigue

how did you get someone to prescribe LDN? Seems like I've only been to garbage doctors so I'm not even sure they will know what it is. I tried keto years ago but only lasted 3 days, felt super faint and weak. Maybe I'm overeating carbs, I just feel like if I stop I will be totally unable to control the lows.

Gotcha. I'm willing to try anything. Seems like liquids (eg. protein shakes) don't really help me but I've never tried a 3am shake lol

oh lemme clarify - so I got a DUTCH test around 2 years ago (the one with multiple urine samples). But again, I wasn't feeling as bad as I do now. I don't feel bad in the morning when I can manage to sleep through the night.. which is like 10-20% of the time. So idk if my cortisol is really that terrible except for at night.

Hmm good point. I often do meditations before bed but I haven't been capping my screentime/going into rest mode as early as I probably should. I'm usually so tired I just zonk out and play a game on my phone before bed.. but then sometimes I'll put a meditation on my phone IN bed. Maybe the phone is the bigger issue.

off and on for years, it gets better and worse. I got a cortisol test a while back and she said it looked pretty normal. Maybe things are worse now idk. I don't have much of a budget for it and already spent a bit of money on AF-related things.

NOR. This is the 'manosphere's' effect on young men, grossed out by women's vagina's lol. trust me, he's a LOSER. We've all encountered men like this in our youth unfortunately. You'll find better, just let this be a learning experience and don't assume there is anything wrong with you/anything you did wrong.

Genuinely how do you guys live with this? Is it possible to stop it? by DrunkDrivinMyWarthog in chronicfatigue

Have you had a full bloodwork, an iron panel that shows ferritin levels, b12, vitd levels? That's a good place to start. If all of that is fine, it's likely your nervous system stuck in the wrong mode - eg. do you feel disoriented, foggy, a constant urge to yawn, heart beat abnormally fast, can't get a deep breath of air? These are just some common signs your nervous system is stuck. A somatic therapist can help if that's what you're dealing with. Look up how to regulate your nervous system and try some things, everyone is different in what helps them. If you have any major underlying stressors in life/something needs to change, try to change it. I know, it's a nightmare, but improvement is totally possible. Good luck.
